I have been using a DSE 103-c for a month now and really enjoy it. I have seen there are so many other models out there, and from reading the forums people really seem to like the 901's, any other models that you recommend?

DSE103 is a wonderful little model. Great for light smokers who just want to drip. I went from the 103 to the 901. Also a great model, but I prefer the JOYE510, next in the succession for me.

The 901 and the 510 have the same learning curve. Cartridges are interchangeable and atomizers clean and function in the same way. The 901 is more apt to floor than a 510, so requires a bit more maintenance. Vapor it lighter and doesn't seem to deliver the nicotine as well, but a good model, hands down.

I feel the 510 delivers more vapor and does a better job of delivering the nicotine. When I was done vaping with the 510 I could feel the effects of the nicotine. With the 901 I could vape for a long time and not really feel it as much. I guess the thicker vapor just delivers the nicotine better. The 510 gets hotter, so you loose a little of the flavor. I compensate by putting a drop on the atomizer and 3-4 drop to top off the cart. You get a really good flavor and vapor kick to start and then just vape until you see a reduction. Really nice. It also has to air hole--instead of one on the 901--so you get a much easier drawer. I do tend to compensate on the 510 by getting bolder, stronger flavors. Menthol has a kick, but a light strawberry gets kind of lost in all the vapor.

You really can't go wrong with either. The Joye510 is sometimes called the 901-Killer, and I have to agree with that. But I've got my 901 and use it every now and again for nostalgia. But I always go back to the 510. It's my primary vape. The 510's a little more expensive (about $9-$10 more at www.heaven-gifts for example). But it comes with two atomizers (which you'll probably want anyway) so it kind of evens out.

Personally, I like the combination of a DSE103 and a JOYE510. There's a very gifted co-worker of mine who can get the DSE103 to put out as much vapor as the Joye510. It's almost scary, but I think it's a gift.

Look around and see what you think. You'll hear a lot of people say flat out to get a 510, but the 901 followers are pretty loyal (and rightfully so). The 901 was the king for a while. But now that the 510's newness has worn off, people are finding it to be very reliable, and living up to the initial hype.

Sorry for the long post! It's way past my bedtime.

P.S. Worse comes to worse you can always pass the kit onto someone else. That's what I did.

I can only really vouch for the 510 as it's the only PV I have.. but I love it! Aside from the battery life, I have no real complaints about it!

The mega batts for the 510 (Totally Wicked) have about 2x the life as the regular, with about a 25% longer body. I vaped pretty heavily on mine last night for about 5.5 hours! The down side is they don't fit into a PCC, but I've heard that if you hold the batt in the charging port of the PCC with a rubber band it will charge it.

I'd say the major downside is that it kills the flavour (as do all 510s)

& you're lucky to have gotten 5.5 hours out of it. The most I have ever got out of a Mega is just under 4 hours (but this is indeed twice what you'd get out of a normal Titan battery, can't comment on the battery life of other 510s as I haven't got any & don't recall reading any comment on them). This is on par with my worst M401 (I can get 5 - 6 hours out of the EVOs & EM4s), in fact I have a couple of M402 EVO batteries that will give 4 hours. (I am quite a heavy vaper, I barely put it down)
