I've also given out so many cig a likes, chargers and clearomizers to people who say they are going to start vapeing. Then to see them still smoking a week later. I quit doing it. To me I would give them back to the person who let me use their stuff and I ended up not using. Even though I'm not using them, I'd like them back to pass along to another person to try out vapeing.

On my way home from work, almost every day I pass the same bum (yes, I still use that word) standing at an intersection looking for handouts. I've never given him cash, but every now and then I'd give him whatever cigs I had remaining in my open pack. Sometimes only 3, sometimes half a pack. He never "begged", per se, he would just stand there and make that smoking gesture; I'd nod my head and roll down my window. He knew smokes were coming his way. Obviously, since February when I started vaping, that "tradition" has ended.

One day I caught a yellow and was at the head of the line at the light. He saw the tip of my e-cig light up and it intrigued him. He walked up. "One of them electronic cigarettes ?" "Yep." "Can I try it ?" "Nope.". He flashed a smile of missing teeth, let out a laugh and said, "Kinda stupid of me, huh ?", I said, "Not at all. You weren't the first to ask, you won't be the last."

I've had several people, friends and total strangers ask to "try it".

Closest I've come is a guy once came up to me with a cig in his mouth and asked for a light. I was standing out on a city street on my break, blowing clouds. When I checked my pockets and said I didn't have one and said "sorry man, I don't smoke" he looked at me with this expression.. like I was the biggest jerk liar he had seen that day.. lol. He walked before I could impart any knowledge :(

THAT happened to me a bunch of times lol i always get a kick out of tellin someone i dont have a light....lol

I think you have to get to the point where smoking is hurting you really.

I always take 3 ecigs with me when I go to my mom's house. I have a niece that is getting hooked on MY ecig. Since trying it about 1 month ago, she has been wanting to get one but because of financial problems she hasn't been able to yet, so when I go visit my mom and she's there, she'll borrow one of my extras and keep it until one of us has to leave. Whenever I show up she always asks "what flavor do you have today?" I don't mind, if I can get her off the analogs I'll be sooooo happy and I know that she is enjoying all the different flavors so much that she will buy her an ecig as soon as she can.
I also had a nephew that bummed puffs off of mine and within about 2 weeks he had bought his own ecig.
So that's 2 down, now all that is left is my sister. And I know that when she gets the money, she is going to get her one as well. (The nephew I mentioned is her son, so between him and me we have her converted as well.)

Fast tech has a simple 900MaH ego with a charger and edov for $10.00

I've spent my entire life gladly collecting germs, and now my immune system is as solid as a rock.
And don't drop any tasty food on the ground near me, because I don't have a 5 second rule, and only dirt will stop me from eating it.
:)

My Mom used to sa god made dirt and dirt won't hurt, I also have the 5 sec rule

I had both of the eGos I was using at the time drain on me during a work day and I had forgotten the charger. So when a friend of mine came into work several hours later I bummed a battery AND her charger from her. Hey, it got me through the rest of the day.

I've let co-workers try my setups before, but I wipe the tip down with an alcohol swab before I pass it over and wipe it again before I resume using it. But a random Joe on the street? Nope. Not happening.

It's not that I'm afraid of eating dirt, it's just so damn crunchy and gritty.
:)

Having said that, there are places I wouldn't want to eat any dirt.

The southwest United States where rodents (Hantavirus) might have pooped is one place.
And anywhere on the banks of a river, where there may be parasites.

Scary stuff can sometimes hang out in dirt.
Too scary for me.
:)
