I'm in the market for a new 900mAh eGo styled battery and I'm also thinking about buying a couple cig-alike sized Volt batteries because I miss the automatic draw and the small cigarette size for out away from home or with friends. Sooo I'm planning to use all 510 accessories with the "V2" KR808D eGo styled battery + the Volt batteries.

What I'm wondering is... If I have the 510 connector on the 808D batteries... Will they charge in a 510 or eGo charger?
I'm also wondering if I can get away with using a regular eGo cone with the 808d "V2" eGo from smokelessimage?

Thanks for any help guys. I appreciate it.

no I was looking to use a regular 510 battery charger (I have many from when I was using the little 510 batteries) to charge KR808D batteries with a KR808D to 510 adapter. Like, I'd screw the adapter into the KR808D battery, then screw the KR808D battery into a 4.2 volt 400mAh little 510 charger. I was thinking it would be possible considering the 510 charger only puts out 4.2 volts, and the KR808D battery's charger is probably very similar (other than the 809d connection) But, Idk if the adapter would allow the KR battery to charge, or if it would be dangerous or not?

I'll probably just save up and buy the 808d batteries with a charger, or 3.7v fixed 510 batteries if possible. But I'm still interested to know if this would work from an electrical and safety standpoint?

The short answer is no. It's tempting, I know but there's a laundry list of reasons you should not. Chargers are about 5 bucks. They have sensors in them which communicate with the battery so they sit at a specific load when filly charged. Different batteries sit differently. Some around 4.2v some at 3.8v....then the volts are regulated which adds another complication into the mix. At best you will ruin your battery. At worst there will be a big explosion that costs a little more than 5 dollars.

thats what I was thinking propagandax. and yeah, I'm not buying the kits because i feel like they are rip off kits. But, Idk, I may end up ordering the small kit with the battery and charger and 2 cartos or whatever for $20 if I have extra cash 1 day.

Can anyone tell me how long the volt is assembled? I'm looking at a 510 battery regulated at 3.7v and its 75mm long assembled I believe? I'm looking to get the shortest one possible.

right on Propa, thanks. Idk what to get now. I can't be spending $40 on batteries I'm only gonna use when I'm too embarrassed to use mods lol. Screw that. I may end up going for the super 510-T kit I found for around $25.00 it comes with 2 bats and 2 atomizers and 2 little atomizer tanks that I'll probably never use and instead I'll use 510 shorty cartos. We'll see. IDK! I'd like to see what a volt looks like in person but I like the price of the super 510-T and I can't believe it got lost compared to the volt. Its on sale or out of stock everywhere because no one knows what its capable of. If people new the Super 510-T batteries were regulated 3.7v with a 510 connection I bet it'd be 1 of the most popular cig-alikes on the market. Who knows why it never grew in popularity. maybe the atomizer tank system turned people off.. you can use it with any 510 accessory though. whatever.

Ah, so the assembled super 510-T is 158mm long, but that is with the atomizer + tank. I'm guessing it'd be just as long as an assembled 78mm VOLT as far as the battery's length. I think its made by joyetech too. Hmmmm... I'm interested even more now. Screw the volt at it's price. I might have to get this super 510-T

Eh screw it. I'm ordering a Volt battery tonight with one of their "nano" clearomizers and a 808 charger from MV. I'll order the 808 to 510 adapter next payday and see if it works in the 510 charger. :p But for now, 1 Volt battery will be fine. I'll carry it with my 900mAh eGo battery and that'll give me enough juice for a night on the town. I'm excited to see what all the hubbub about the Volts is for.

What really got me is 1. the Volts come in sealed auto, which I love the idea of. I want an auto battery where I don't seriously have to worry about taking the carto/atty off to clean every 10min. and 2nd, I've just always wondered about the Volts. How they performed throughout the charge & whatnot.

Welllllll I've been vaping for years and I'm still not cool with pulling out a eGo while I'm talking to a cute girl. You do you bro. You do you. "Oh whats that? Thats cool. Is there a cigarette in there?" Oh no, there's an unregulated 3.7 volt 900mAh proprietary battery in it. Its called an eGo, its a e-cigarette... It vaporizes liquid with nicotine in it... I... bought it off the internet... I'm... digging this hole deeper and deeper aren't I? OK I'll see you around? ...no? OK... have a.. a good night.

There have been mixed reviews on the nanos. An Ego cone should work with an X2 - I believe some people used Ego cones on them before the X2 cones came out.

thanks kiwi i was wondering about that. I didn't get an X2 this time but maybe I will try one next time. I had seen you talking about the volts and I really got curious. It'll be nice to be able to pick up a battery and vape like I used to smoke yknow? I've been through two 2 battery 510 kits and they've broken on me. this is going to be fun. I got white batteries with the orange led. I got a super shorty 808 cartomizer and one of the nanos from smokelessimage. This nano will be my first ever true clearomizer so I'm excited to try that too. I have a big order on its way, its my xmax present. This is gonna be all I'll be getting for a long time. I spend everything I've saved up finally. I got a lot of great vape gear with it. :D I'm excited.

haha hopefully. hopefully they'll do less repelling than a Bolt or a Provari would lol. I haven't tried to seriously talk to a girl or attempt to make plans to see a girl again with a big ol' mod in my hands but I'm pretty sure the Volts will help me feel 80x less anxiety about it. a girl I knew from highschool caught me on an escalator a month or so back and I had my bolt with an XL cartomizer on it and a big old acrylic vase drip tip? LOL pocketed. pocketed. If I had volt batteries I'd be happy to show them off and be like "oh yeah I quit smoking, I use these now" but nottttttt with a big battery mod lol.

Trying to charge a battery on something it wasn't intended to be charges on is stupid and irresponsible. I bet this fictional girl your talking too won't be too impresses when you blow off your face or burn down your house because you were too cheap to buy a $10 charger to properly charge your battery safely.
