Can I charge iPV D2 directly?

Hi guys. I need some help. I'm new to vaping. So I got myself a new ipv D2. Can I charge it directly to a plugging point? Cause some of the guys around me are telling me not to, and get an external charger to charge the battery

I would highly suggest the external chargers, but I charge my ipv D2 through the charging port at work. Just don't let it sit by itself while it charges.

I see. But if I still use direct charge will it effect anything?

You'll relying on the quality and charging capabilities of the chip VS a proper charger.

You can. I would not. Batteries are expensive. It just makes sense to properly care for them. I really would suggest a stand-alone charger.

I use the onboard charger of my ipv mini 2 rarely, I wouldn't make it a habit but in a pinch it does work.

The companie's track record should speak for itself. They failed miserably with the board on the IPV4, putting profit over consumer safety

They did fix it with the 4s. The ipv4 is certainly a bad design but that's a problem to that specific model and because it's so widely known every model they put out is looked at with more scrutiny.

I agree. The separate charger is the best way to go.
