I just bought a Tobh clone. This is my second build in it. (The first was a 32g twist that was just awful.)

Somehow my positive post turned a bit. I assume from me, over-tightening.

you want to try get the coil or coils as close to the airhole/s as possible without touching which will keep the 2x32g to stay cooler as it fires up fast and allow you to take a longer pull, the flavour will be much better than just having the coil/s in the well, the only downside to this is that you will have to have long long legs to reach the side of the atty but if you set up your coil/s as i have in the pic it will save you some wasted leg length.
i just thought i'd mention it cus i see a lot of people say they're getting an awful vape from the tobh, i know its not what you are asking but if it helps, all good :)

I've had great performance with my Tobh set up like the pictures above. Question though, I thought I had read somewhere that the 510 pin length can by shortened a bit, however now that I've had the unit for a bit I cannot figure it out. Am I chasing a unicorn, or am I missing something?

you can sand or file down the copper pin on the bottom of the 510 :)

I built like this today and got incredible results!

I'm more than satisfied with my Tobh now.

Thanks so much brother!

Alright, not quite as clean of a build but it's working great so far. Anyone got pointers so I can improve?

Better than I did. Builds like that on the stock Tobh definitely get better results though.

Since this thread, I traded my Tobh for another VTC4 and bought a Plume Veil though. :\

The particular clone that I got felt very cheaply reproduced. I don't have any experience with an authentic Tobh, but the barrel on mine felt thin. Almost as if it were aluminum.

Also, the airholes were very small and, because of the slots on the deck (airflow), it was a little difficult to build on.

I had experience with the Plume Veil and I'm really familiar and enjoy all of it's features.

I'm sure I'll cross paths with another Tobh, but I'll definitely inspect it before I purchase it again.
