can I hold my ego t button down without tank to drain battery

So I have been havin issues with a charger and want to see if it will still charge/ work w.o damagin batterys I have a 650 ego t to use to figure this out with but only thing is I need it to be completly dead to test this

So if I take the clearomizer off the ago t and just hold the button down till its dead will that cause any damage to the battery?

My charger just keeps blinking red over and over when the battery is on it it used to alternate between red and green.
Also I cant seem to get it to turn green even after hours of charging.

I dont want to put my vision spinner on it if it will .... it up aince these are the only 2 batteries I have

Won't hurt the battery, but it may take days holding the button.

The coil in the topper is the load that drains the battery. Why not just vape it until it shuts itself off?

I want to buy a new charger in the am if this ones broken bc and I guess there really isnt a rush but I just hate not knowing about these things it just bugs the shiizzznit outa me haha. But I have an old ....ty disposable tank that came with my ego kit I dont mind burnin the coil and wick out of since ill never be usin it again that should work

Well, they do fail, like all electronics. "Average" life span is pretty good, but some don't live up to "average", like light bulbs.

If you continuously fire on a dry coil, you'll eventually burn out the coil. The safety time-out is supposed to turn off the battery output to prevent damaging the battery.

Can't just vape it down?

I propbly should have but I did gett the ....ty disposable clearo and just held the button down until the bat timed out over and over till it died and ended up findin out what I wanted, hopfuly I didnt do to much damage to the battery doin that but I think I did bc between that and chargin it over night for a few weeks when I first got it myy ego t 650maha will only last me about 3 hours now from a full charge
