Can I run these batteries safely?

I have some leftover Ultrafire LC 14500, 900mah 3.6V Li-ion, silver in color, batteries from an old box mod. Will these batteries work / work well in a mini? I do have the other IMR 14500's 3.7v 600mah as recommended, just wondering...

I dont want to throw anything into my beloved mini without direction first.

If the Ultrafires are protected and they probably are, they will be fine. The IMRs should be fine too.

REO's were built around the AW IMR's from what I've noticed and so, that would be what should be used in there. Especially if your using LR atties or cartos.

Yes they will work. The IMRs are the recommended battery...AW specifically. But you can get by on those. I just retired a bunch of those about 4 months ago. There is a stark performance difference between the Ultrafire protected and the AW IMR and the AW IC batteries. I hope this helps.

Always be aware of battery size. If it pushes down the spring too much, you do not have the safety of the spring collapsing in case of a short. AW IMR give the needed room.

Good call! Seriously, in the Mini, more than the Grand, the AW IMR 14500 batteries make a HUGE difference in the mod's peformance.
