Can I save a burnt carto?

So I just filled my new Texas tuff tanks and burnt a carto. It was a pretty distinct taste, kinda of like burning an analog too short. Not sure why it happened, I primed it with close to 30 drops and let it sit in the filled tank for about 10mins. Is there anyway to save this bad boy or am I screwed?

Not sure about that one mate, I know the ole' drop in vodka for 2 days trick works if they're performing poorly. But burnt filler? Hmm. I've had cartos that perform insane and last a good while. I've got a Smoktech Dual Coil in front of me that's lasted over a month and still working.
The other 3 had wonky threads and just burnt to hell

Needless to say they quickly found the trashcan. I'm skeptical on buying cartos after that experience. Wicking . Maybe contact the supplier for replacements?

Somebody with more experience on cartos is gonna have to speak up.
