You remove the spring and put in magnets. Do some google searches and you'll find the path.I'm not sure about this one, but I guess that I have to take spring apart to put magnets.
I have also, really like it.I switched a few of mine to rare earth magnets.
I think my spring has a short in it so I was wondering if I can just use my mod without the springs?
I don't understand how a spring can have such a big effect on my mod though but I need some help.

Thank you all for the replies this forum is amazing. But the thing is my mech mod isn't firing correctly. I press the button but it doesn't fire and the bottom button get hot and I have the vanilla mech mod. I cleaned and adjusted everything even the coils. It has to be the spring? I'm guessing i should get magnets or something I don't know...and the sad thing is my mod is not a clone. I hope someone has answers and the same experience as me

I also have a Vanilla mod (original). Current does pass through the switch spring, but mine has never gotten hot. I would suspect a short on your build deck, or in the topcap of the mod or even in the insulation (coating) of your battery. In a direct short the spring will have the most resistance and as such will heat up.
What kind of battery are you using? Are you using a kick or anything? Have you inspected the topcap to make sure the center pin hasn't been adjusted so far forward that the base of the pin is contacting the rest of the topcap?
A digital multimeter would come in quite handy in troubleshooting this...
You have a vanilla mech mod.
What are you using on top.
What ohm is your coil.
What voltage is the battery measuring.
Is the battery loose inside the tube.
Has the spring collapsed.
was it working before or did you just buy it
is the 510 on your atty adjustable? I've had one on a taifun screwed on too tight and press on the adjustable 510, pushing it off to the side a little bit. That was enough to heat up the button. I agree that theres a short, but I'm guessing it's either in your build, or your 510 connection. Make sure your coils aren't touching anything...including the top cap.
No your spring does not have a short in it, or if it does, that's a good thing.
Maybe your spring is not contacting properly.
I am using a brass monkee rda authentic
Around .5
I have no idea about voltage of battery but I use a sony vtc 5
No I makes ire it is right
No the spring is not broken it is perfectly fine although it is alittle black so....
And yes it was working perfectly before I bought it then eventually it just started to die down in performance

The spring is a little black?
perhaps that's a symptom of the problem.
How are you measureing coil ohms.
