Getting a Provari and wondering if the Ultrafire 18650 2600/mah batteries I have will work. If anyone has any experience with this that would be very helpful, don't want to spend more than I have too. Thanks.
The way I understand it is you can use the UltraFire's, but they're not made for the higher voltage vaping. You're not going to get the battery life out of them that you get from the IMR's. I steered clear from the AW IMR batteries for a long time because of the price difference. But, now that I've used them, the cheap TrustFire's just don't even compare.
You can but you may not get the full voltage range with it due to it's limited current output, that's why IMR is recommended. If you do use it stick with higher ohms, low ohm will probably trip it pretty quick.
