Can I use the Aspire ARC radial revvo coil on the Skystar revvo kit with 100% VG?

It uses sub-omh coils, so it should be designed to have a good juice flow. I don't know for sure, I have never used one, but you should be fine. Also, after a quick googling, vendors do state they're fine to use with rich, high VG juices.
Maybe wait for someone who used one to answer you, but there's little to no chance that they aren't fit for max VG.

I just wonder if it will kill my coil and how it impacts the coil life.

Higher VG means more gunk building up on the coil for sure, so you probably won't use the coil as long as you would with 30/70 or 50/50. I can't tell by how much though. I vape high VG mix (roughly 20/80), but even with 50/50, I have to change the coil every 5 days or so if I want to enjoy it.
Note that gunk will not make your coil hazardous or dangerous. It will simply not taste as good (muted flavor, and a lightly burnt taste when pushing the coil far enough, ie. after several long, hard, chained puffs that will heat the coil quite a lot), and won't produce as much vapor. It's not horrible though, just not as pleasant as a clean coil

Hey guys,

I just wonder if it will kill my coil and how it impacts the coil life. Be kind and save me test bottle of liquid;)

Hi and welcome,
100% VG may not wick very well. It is very thick.
Are your nicotine and flavouring(s) also 100% VG based?
Are you sensitive to PG or other additives?

Cheers

If you are PG sensitive, I'd probably recommend thinning the juice (if it is in fact 100% VG, most flavorings are PG based) but if truly max VG, I'd recommend using up to 10% DW to thin it. I am PG sensitive and (until I found PEG400, a PG variant) well, I used DW and it really did help with wicking, coil life, coil TEMPERATURE (it's got a higher boiling point than VG so can lower temps). To try it out you could put a few drops of DW in your tank.

If your goal is max VG for whatever reason, well, it will likely raise temps in your tank, especially if chain vaping, and overall. Sub0ohm tanks are designed to handle HIGHER VG, but even those coils are probably going to run more happily with some other things (be it more PG, if that's not an issue) or DW. You'll likely get a more enjoyable vape as well.

Just a thought,

Anna

Thanks mate, that helps. Hope I get a reply from a skystar user, too. The coil with 70 VG lasts about 4 weeks, best coil life I ever had and one coil is 3 EUR (3,5 USD). I think I'll just risk it. Since I order from other countries I wanted to ask in advance.

Y,
Just for clarity,
Actually you need feedback from a Revvo tank user.

The "skystar" is only a battery/power device. It is indifferent to PG/VG ratios, nicotine strengths or brands of juice.

Best of luck

Might want to look at all forums before you post in new members forum, you may get more pertinent/informative information;).

when Ive used 100% VG in sub tanks it works ok but sometimes you have to give a few primer puffs. close the air flow and suck in you should see a few bubbles repeat a few times. do this at the first sign of flavor drop or dry hit and its all good.
Thank you for the tips!

I dont know anything about those tanks but wicking all VG can be tough you can help the wicking process along by doing primer puffs when you think there is a flavor drop or hint of a dry hit.
VG its self wont gunk up your coils its the sweeteners and other additives in your juice that dose that.

Glad you asked. I have that exact setup so it saves me from asking later (usually vape 70vg/30pg) I've only had it a couple weeks but the coil is going strong. I'll let you know when I change it.

Heyhey,

thanks so much. I am not PG-sensitive (I think?) but I am sensitive to throat hit (and this PG? No idea...:D). So I thought I just try to order with Max VG. I had 70 VG before and it is fine but I always enjoy "smoother" vapour, if that makes sense. Aspire said I can use max VG but need to make saturation sure. No information about coil life. So ordered 700 ml juice with max VG from my trusted supplier now. This will be the first long-term study, yaaay :D

Just got another dry hit with that darn revvo. Ruined a coil. If the tank isn't half full and tipped sideways ( top coil) the coil won't be saturated enough and then uck, vaping fire again :(
Just have to remember to tip it some.
Hahaha well, I trained myself by now to vape upsidedown so that doesn't happen to me :D.
I am sure you will figure it out!!
