So, I am very absent minded and have a tendency to hit my front teeth when I am vaping, that's why I am still undecided about buying metal tips. I don't like the feel of hard plastic too much either.

Now, a soft rubbery T-Drip would be my personal holy grail, and I reckon that the one of many other users too.

I use a Zebra pen grip and I love that pacifier nipple like feeling on my lips, very nice. Still, it's not as good looking as a contoured purpose made tip drip, let's face it.

So, can it be done? Does it exist a heat resistant soft plastic/rubber material that could be used for that? Does anyone know?

Heh, you won't catch me building that, but if you email the manufacturer of the t-tip you might be able to pitch the idea. It wouldn't be particularly hard for a manufacturer...but for a guy like me working with silicon is too tough.

I do think it's a great idea, I hope someone can make them and make a few bucks while they are at it. I have a can of that stuff to rubberize the handles on wrenches and things, I wonder if that would work?? Just kidding I have no idea what it would put off that I might enhale or even just injest from it.

I wouldn't suggest using rubber...with heat it releases toxic chemicals that could make you dead rather quickly with prolonged exposure. To be honest they could probably mold the whole tip out of silicon, but I'd suggest using silicon as a cover for something a little more durable like anodized aluminum. Just at the mouth area.

A lot of tobacco shops sell soft rubber sleeves that are meant to go on your pipe tip. When I smoked pipes, I used them all the time, and loved them.

They go under the name Pipe Softys here, and come in a package of two.

They're really stretchy, and I'll bet theyd fit on whistle tip carts.

Google

Might be worth a try?
