Can not see embedded videos on ECF forums

Using iPad. I know they are there as I can hit reply then copy and paste the utube link in another window and it will play. This is the only forum of which I'm a member of many, that does this.

Could it be because iPads are not compatible with Flash?

Don't own one or know anything about differences between 1s and 2s, just going by what I've read I suspect that may be the primary issue.

Shouldn't be. Like I said, it works on a multitude of other forums. ECF is the only one I've found that I have this problem with.

For some reason my videos aren't embedding at all today. I did it just like i've always done it. clicked the little video thingy then added the youtube link............but it's still showing up as a link, not a video.

Links work for me on the iPad. Embeded shows nothing.

Yes, there are few iPad users that has the problem. That is how I found the work around to reply to post, then copy and paste in another window. Way to time consuming though.

Also, on some posts there is no way to tell there is even a vid embedded in it. Just shows up as a blank spot.

Correct Angus. If there is no text, it show as a blank post.

Here is screenshot of what another forum's embedded video looks like. Someone at ECF has to be able to find the hidden switch or button to turn this option on. Pretty please.

iPads don't do Flash. Maybe the vids you can watch are HTML5.

iPod, shmypod.... no video embedding is working ATM........for me or Gummy... worked yesterday.
