can someone chime me in on the appeal of drip tips?

I see everyone talking about the drip tips they have bought all the time. Personally, the ones that come on my rda's do the job great, and they match my atty perfectly. Most drip tips I see just contrast the "fluidness" of the look of the mod. Do most of you get them for looks, like to personalize your pv? or do drip tips actually help in performance in a way im not seeing?

although I will say, if I found carbon fiber one, I might be interested in the look of that

I think it's really a matter of personal preference. I got mine not only for looks, but also functionality. I tend to chain vape and the one that came on my igo-w would get too warm on my lips for my liking. So I got a longer one, and it made a world of difference. It cools the vapor ever-so-slightly which I am very happy about and took care of the uncomfortable warmth problem. It's not a HUGE difference, but it is noticeable to me and I like the way it looks. Hope this helps :)

Savoir-Faire is everywhere!
Man, I saw a carbon fiber drip tip somewhere...................for $35!
Seriously.

I've been thinking about replacing all the metal drip tips on my kayfuns with delrin tips. I almost broke my teeth a couple times!
I have one that is a mix of brass and carbon fiber. It's gorgeous.
