With vv...you are able to find the specific volts you like the best and dial it in. So for instance...when vaping with a 3.7volt battery that comes off the charger at 4.2v...and 4.2 is what you consider your "prime" vaping voltage...you can just dial it in at that level and you get 4.2v from beginning to end. Not 4.2, then 4.1, 4.0, 3.9, and so on.
The same applies to higher voltages...put your 6v battery combo in and enjoy 5.2 vaping if that's what you're into. :) I bet many of my juices would just be incredible at 4.3-4.5 volts. :)

So if your sweet spot is say 4.5 then your pv will run at 4.5 till it drops below then stop firing correct?

I'm not 100% on this, but I was under the impression it depends on the circuit involved giving you the vv ability. Some kinds boost a single battery to whatever you set it to and others will lower the voltage if necessary. I understand there are also different circuits that will garuntee a steady voltage until the battery is completely gone where others will drop as the batteries deplete, leading you to crank the adjuster up as the power lessens. I'm still a little fuzzy about the differences, but I still can't wait to be able to dial in on a flavor with a new woodvil vv Reo! Woo, what's the latest, when can expect to be broke? lol

You are correct...it does depend on what kind of system is involved. This one is not the booster kind. :)

What I am confused about is battery life. I know that if you crank it up in voltage that it won't last as long as if you were using a lower voltage. I am spoiled by the 18650 in a Grand. With whats being made by Rob if I were to keep the voltage about 4.0 using an atty at 1.5 ohm would the batteries last as long as they do with the 18650 and using a 1.5 ohm atty? Has anyone figured oout a ball park guesstimate on that?

Itrainer: Rob will be building a few of the VV units for testing when the parts come in. This is one of the first set ups I will be working on. I love my 1.5 attys and will run through different volts to see how much juice I can get through.

We will be doing juice consumption testing with different attys at different volts to see what we come up with.

With the Buzz Pro Chip people are getting good battery life compared to other stacked set ups. But this is based on dripping, cartos and cartos tanks.

With a Bottom fed mod I never base battery life by time. I always base it on how much juice I can get through on one charge.

Case in point with a 3.0 306 Cisco or Volcano atty at 6v using a set of Lifepo4's 500mAh in a REO Grand or Woodvil using my style of vaping I get through about 2ml of juice per set of batters. I average about 6ml per day so if I am on the road all day I need 3 sets of batters to get me home :) One set fresh in the Grand or Woodvil and two sets in the case.

This is for me and my style of vaping each person will get slightly different results due to there style of vaping.

Rob calls me a vapor Pig :) I take long deep draws but run my attys at the dry end and not overly wet.

I hope this info helps.

Thanks for your input. I found some video reviews on the buzz pro that gave information on vape times. Both reviewers said they got around 11 hours (fairly heavy vaping) on their Buzz Pros. Thatr is more than enough for me. I get around 3 battery changes per day using the AW IMR 18650 using a 1.5 ohm atty so it sounds as though I might get even more vape time out of the VV setup.

When they get to about 3.8v I change them out. I just like a real a good TH and I like the way a fresh battery hits. I only go through about 3.5-4 mls per day. That is one reason I am very interested in the VV.

You will definitely like the VV REO's. I like my 1.5's a little hotter that is one reason I use the Ciscos. But love them cranked to about 4.3 4.4 or so when dripping.

My most favorite is a Cisco 1.8 at about 4.5 4.6 it a hot little set up for sure. :)

I trainer I do the same exact thing when they hit 3.8 I put a fresh battery in. I could go all day but I prefer the higher voltage .Some people don't notice the difference and some of us do. Did someone say vapor pig
