Can this be safely used with a PT?

Hello knowledgeable vets,

I have the following I use for charging batts with their relative USB chargers, but would like to know if it can be safely used with a regular kr808d-1 inline battery PT.

Looks like a good one! In fact, if you are only using a regular inline batt PT, you could probably have two of them plugged in at once, since they are each only drawing about 500 mA to charge the batteries. If you decide to get a 5V "straight-wire" PT, this converter will also have the juice to power it, but you should only use one port on it, and leave the other port unused, as a 5V PT with a 2.5ohm atty/carto will be pulling 2 amps and 10 watts, which are the limits of the unit. Your kr808 PT should be well under the limits of the unit.
