Can Vaping cause dry skin?

Ok. I quit smoking a month ago and have been vaping for just over 3 weeks. My skin is getting dry and flaky on my upper body. I am currently using Virgin Vapor 100% VG. I don't know that this is causing it but am wondering if anyone else has had this issue?

Any dryness on your lips so far? From what I know, it's best to get yourself hydrated as vaping does dry you out in a way.

Drink more water. Not coke pepsi coffee etc.

Maybe it's just the cold weather? vaping dries my mouth and throat like a mutha, but I haven't noticed my skin drier than usual this time of year.

It dried my face out terribly and I had to start using lotion on it for a while. I started drinking more water and I've had no problems since.

Definitely stay hydrated. In colder months skin tends to get dry anyway, so you could use lotion. But drinking water and staying hydrated is good for you so try that.

Water will definitely help, but if you need a soda here and there its not bad but do it on moderation. Instead of 100% VG, maybe put more PG and see how that works

Vaping originally dried my lips, so I started making my own juice, and haven't had any problems since.

Soda's, coffee, tea, etc... don't count.

Only issue I've had is prickly heat when I get a little stressed at work. But that could be due to my body ex......g lots of gunk I've put in my body for years.

I got dry skin and my chest felt a bit tight when I switched over from 30 rollups a day to vaping. Now I mix my own juice (80%VG 20%flavourings) and all seems well.

Absolutely definitely DRINK LOADS OF WATER....but remember - when you quit smoking, all sorts of crazy things happen, dry skin, spots, bleeding gums. By all means monitor what your vaping and make changes, but give your body a couple of months to get over the filth you were inhaling.
