Hi...
...The team ID is: 223274
...I think if you put this in it will attribute it to the team...

...there are threads at the top of the forum areas that give the info...they are stickied
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...elp-fight-cancer-f-h-join-team-ecf-today.html
also...if it helps, an FAQ on install:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...58519-f-h-client-installation-guides-faq.html

..more info on how/what you suggest on social sites would help me, for sure... if you are suggesting the publishing of the ECF team number... I might think to defer to someone w/more knowledge on it..., but I'm sure that the team ID is on computers beyond those belonging to the forums...

I'll await further thoughts along with you... cheers, and all the best, ~M

thanks schmicknick, cheers for the links, i totally agree it should be put in the hands of somebody with more knowledge on the subject, i suppose what i had in my mind was a webpage which contained the team id along with a link to fah sign up page, and a description of what fah is all about, then we could all copy the url for that page and share on social sites like facebook, this would mean 2 clicks and you would be at fah with all the relavent info, this would obviously require a developer to create the page, i think fah is a great idea, hats off to all you guys and the scientist developing the project :)

Anyone can fold for any team they choose. Regardless of who you fold for, it is important that once you start you follow through. If you or your friends decide it is too much to handle, at least finish the current work unit before you decide to "call it quits". I think Dusty or another moderator can respond with suggestions regarding non-ecf members folding for the team.

If they do fold for ECF please make sure to stress to use an appropriate name. We already have one "masked" folder with the name of "LosersListedBelow" which is somewhat offensive, in my eyes anyways.

i do not know if non ECF members can see the F@H subforum but just link straight to it and see.
(doing this will also indirectly introduce them to ECF :D)

OR link to F@H in general and ask that people join your team. there is a F@H page on facebook already, i have it liked. and think this is probably the best way to promote folding and ask people you know to help the team your on.

F@H is already used on many top websites and some of the more popular tech sites all have teams
Hard ocp, engadget, maxpc,for example.

to create an external website would be at cost and would do nothing more then rehash the stanford information and link here anyways. going to like maxpc for example it used to just link to the pc subforum where folding had its own section like we do.

if you feel so inclined i have no problem with anyone doing a copy and paste of the main introduction Q&A I wrote that got you interested.
