Can you smoke only pg without diluting it?

I was planning to smoke only pg so i bought a 100% pg bottle but it says that it needs to be diluted with vg , is it possible to vape it without diluting it, if i try it will the coil get burned?

It depends on what you're vaping on. Straight PG can be pretty harsh on the throat at high wattage low ohm vaping. It's also more prone to leak out of tanks and such as it's thinner liquid. If you're vaping a lower power MTL setup, you'll be fine.
Back in the day PG was all that was available.

What did you buy and from whom?

The PG we use for vaping:
PG:Chemical Formula: C3H8O2 , CAS#: 57-55-6, B.P./USP grade at 99.5% or greater purity.
It is NOT created for vaping and would NOT be labeled "must be diluted with VG/before use".
It is a stand alone product.

The VG we use for vaping:
VG:Chemical Formula: C3H8O3, CAS#: 56-81-5, B.P./USP grade at 99.5% or greater purity
It is NOT created for vaping and would NOT be labeled "must be diluted with PG/before use".
It is a stand alone product.

It's a pure pg bottle i bought from a vape store , i just went and bought some vg and i will mix it up just to be sure. Thanks for replying though.

Hola,

Will you be using nicotine in your mix? Nicotine may sold in a PG base, a VG base or a mixture of both.

Will you be using flavor in your mix? Many flavors are PG based, some VG based and some will contain alcohol.

Most devices will work just fine with approximately a 50/50 mix of PG and VG.
Small pod type devices seem to have a limit of about 75% VG mix before wicking ability is reduced.

Where are you located?
What device are you using?
If you are purchasing from a vape store, a premixed bottle of VG and PG may be easier for a beginner.

If your 100% PG juice you got at a vape store has nic in it, make sure you DO dilute it to the proper strength before vaping.
You can dilute it with no-nic PG, or some no-nic VG, or both, to whatever ratio.

Is there nicotine in that PG?

What is the % or mg/ml of nicotine on the label...or what did they tell you the nicotine content is in that PG you bought?

They may have sold you nicotine base which may be dangerous to vape without diluting it significantly.

70/30 should be fine.

So you are using just unflavored VG and PG?

Thanks and no I'm using iced strawberry flavored pg and vegetable glycerine from the pharmacy. I already had the pg bottle and i ordered a vape and 2 70/30 e juices from amazon . The vape came today but the e juices will come in a few days and i just don't want to wait.

Welcome and glad you joined.
I have been vaping zero nicotine for a few years now and find it relaxing and extremely enjoyable. Strongly suggest that you stay away from nicotine.

As long as it's USP grade, you may vape it as is. We all started with 100% PG eliquids. VG was added later for more vapor production.
