I am going crazy with Canada post...
I ordered a big order from alien Visions.... I adore their juices... about $200. Ever since Oct. 5 the tracking says... Arrived in Canada and was sent for further processing. What the heck does it mean???? It should have been released already... it's in Missisauga and I live in Scarborough.... basically half an hour drive.
Could it be that customs got to it? Knock on wood.... Do you have a similar experience? When will it be released from customs? Can they confiscate and not release? It does have nicotine ( 6mg).
Second order, I bought an Evic supreme from ebay, from USA. Now I read that you aren't legally allowed to import electronic cigarettes in Canada? What kind of crap is that???? they sell them everywhere here too.....
Really frustrated and upset....

Check out the Canada Forum. :)

I read this post recently. If you click on the "arrow" after the users name you can read the whole thread.

1. Since it's juice - you've a 50:50 chance of getting the package confiscated by CBSA
2. Shipping from the US is usually higher than locally within our borders
3. Good clearomizers like the Nautilus and Aerotank is also available with all internal vendors
4. We have quite a nice coterie of Juice Mixers* within

I'd suggest buy locally.

*viz. Wendy's Stinky Canuck, Chris's Jugheads, Ian's MLV, Sadie's Evaperated etc.

thank you.....
I do have my reasons for ordering straight from AVE website... there is not a single Canadian vendor that sells the flavors that I like from AV!!!! Why? I don't know.... Yes, there are some that sell AV juices... way expensive, but ok, but not one that would have, for example, their Clove flavor....
As for Evic supreme.... if you look at Canadian places that sell it, it's $159 plus tax ( 13% ). I am not that rich.... and I don't see why Americans could buy it for $120 or $130 and I should pay so much more just because I am Canadian. After all, it's a Chinese product! for both Canadians and Americans.
Can you see my point here.... ?
But I guess I have so much stress in me right now that I will abstain from "wants" and stick to my "needs" for future.... I wish I lived in California!!!!!

Wow... only 2 days in customs. A package can sit in customs for up to 2 weeks, even longer. That "further processing" is telling you that it came off the boat and now sitting in a huge metal basket in customs with thousands of other packages waiting to get x-rayed like on that TV show. Only thing that if it landed in Mississauga then you could be in for a good wait. I live on the west coast and Richmond customs is much faster than Mississauga.

I wouldn't be too worried, almost all my packages says sent to customs. Except the one package that actually got rejected by customs. How weird is that. All it had was an RBA and some magnets too. Nothing prohibited in Canada. Sat in customs for like a month with no updates in tracking besides that it left foreign country. Then one day I decided to track it on the Chinese website and they say it got sent back to China.

I would never order juice from overseas though (nic juice is actually prohibited in Canad) and especially not combine it with other more expensive stuff.

To the member above....
how is nicotine juice prohibited in Canada? For importing maybe? But how? even the variety store on the corner of my street sells ejuices with nic in them . Granted they are garbage juices, but still they have nic.... and they're made in China... how did he import them?
I am really confused now....
I assume ecig stores that sell American juices must import them somehow too... ok, maybe they have permits and things I don't know about.... but I am quite sure the variety store owner that can't even speak English properly has no permits.....

Nicotine is a controlled substance, you have to be 19 yrs or older to purchase, and the guy at the variety store can ask for ID from the person he's selling it to. When it's coming through in the mail, they don't know who's hands it's falling in. Could be an 8yr old kid for all they know.

That said, my order from Halo (equipment only, no juice) arrived today. It was sent for further processing also in Mississauga, and 2 days later was released. I'd say not to panic yet, but I have no experience with ordering juice outside of Canada. I can tell you with my hardware, Customs didn't even open the box.

Good luck.

Well,in my defense.... an 8 year old kid doesn't have a credit card to order ejuices.... II have a 10 year old daughter,,,, she isn't allowed home alone or to open the front door for the mailman....
Anyway,
my Evic Supreme from ebay arrived safe and sound! I am delighted with it. But it came via Richmond, not via Mississauga....
My $200 order from AV is still processed in Mississauga...:( I am praying for a miracle now.
