From what i have read in the faq i was thinking about getting a 510 for the future upgradability and its somewhat small, im not interested in the pore relibility of autos so i was looking at this manual What do u guys thonk of this

From this post I am not quite sure what it is you are asking. Anyway here is my opinion.

510 only refers to the type of thread used on the battery and carts. If you buy a different battery with a 510 thread you will still be able to use you old cartos.

Janty makes a good product but I would start with something a bit bigger. At least the size of an ego.

A smaller kit like that is how most people start. I'm not saying dont get it, but you might want to consider a bigger battery. That can be a bit pricey in canada, 65-85 dollars. Most likely you could find it cheaper in the US but your looking at a shipping time of about 2 weeks.
All in all If you want it, go for it. And yes, a 510 is a good place to start. you will have more access to different cartomizers, atomizers, and every other way to turn juice in to tasty tasty goodness. That will be the hard part, choosing what you put on the end of the battery.

People call Joye 510 and its clones, a slim ecig, "510" - I know what you are talking about.
510 is also a threading

510 manuals have good reliability. They are not particularly strong. They have short battery life with those little batteries. But with a totally sealed metal threaded end they are safe from being damaged or killed by juices leaks, and manuals make it easier to get a good hit. I use them with Boge 3 ohm cartomizers. You can use anything 2.5 to 3 ohms on slim batteries.

Janty is an excellent choice - Janty and Joye aka Joyetech are the real 510's.

What you are looking at is a 510-T (tank model with tank atomizer and tanks)

100mah is about 1 hour of moderate vaping
Joye/Janty 510 is 180mah
If you find the longer mega xl size those are 280mah

My first PV was a joye 510, and it is a good one. I still use it, but I keep my higher nic tobacco flavor juice in it, and use it when I have a bad craving. A week after getting my 510 I ordered an Ego passthrough, as I sit at my desk all day (and most of the night). They are similar in the way they hit, the passthrough a bit better, maybe bc it's plugged in to power almost always, but the biggest difference will be the battery life, the eGo has a longer time span between charges.
You can get one at vaporgods for $16.99 but you will have to get cartos and juice and other accessories separately if you want to go that route.

Tnx for the input guys, im a half ... cigar smoker lol. In that i mean i generally smoke on the weekends and i do so because i enjoy it (drinking or not) so i would just like to be a bit more healthy when i smoke , i have no notable addiction i just enjoy the act and taste so i will be getting 0% nicotine juice.

Im hoping this all means i could live with the shorter battery life, as i should be able to have both batterys charged before i go out, what do you think guys?

Well guys i think i have looked at every Canadian suppler many times and e-cigz just seems to have the best deals, i also stumbled upon this M602XL set that, i believe, would have a better battery life and also has an led which appeals to my childish interest in gadgets lol.

Because there are many on this form much more learned then me, which one would you suggest, what are pros and cos with each, teach me guys

P.S. I have looked a lot at the larger format units but i think i would be happier with the smaller type.

Although i think i may prefer a tank model (the 510) the longer battery life and led interests me more....Unfortunately i saw a review that claimed the battery on the manual model may not be fully sealed off :0 making the manual reliability, in this case, just as pore as the auto.

Can anyone confirm or deny weather the manual batt is fully sealed or not?

Why not get a 1000mah Ego batt, they will run 510 threaded goodies and last all day vaping.

Thats a good idea tnx, not sure i could afford the purchase of the kit and the higher capacity batt though.

Just got confirmation from the company that both systems i was interested in do not have a sealed battery :/

how often does this type of battery short from the juice?
could i get away with using this type problem free?
If so might i just as well get an auto battery?
Should i just peice a kit together myself?

Im on a budget so if anyone has some other suggestions around the price range of the above fell free to educate me.

If I can get the leakage problem fixed I think I would prefer the eGo-T simply because the battery lasts longer and I don't have to continually drip. Hope that helps.

The genuine Joye Ego T batts have not been a problem at all in 3-4 months use. They are protected. Auto batts are not as good as manuals ones. The manuals have a 5 click shut off so they won't be accidently turned on while carrying or hitting the button. Autos have a chip that can be activated by wind, etc.
Tanks should only be filled 90% and always leave a drop so as to not allow the wicking to dry out and get a burnt taste at the end of the tank. Piecing together a kit is up to you as everyone has different preferences. The Ego has 510 threading so you have options for different pieces to try out.

See above post and have you tried purchasing soft caps for your tanks. I still use my hard caps but I refill the tanks with a syringe so not to have to remove the caps. http://www.nicfitnation.com/ego-t-spare-parts/ has them and a few other vendors also.
