Hey there! Nice to meet everyone.

I was just curious if there are any canadian brand imitation e-liquids? Export a, players, du maurier being the 3 I smoked for years ^^;

I'm a complete newbie, my joye510 should be here in the morning and was just looking for something inside the comfort zone i guess haha.

I've got a few different coffee varieties, vanilla and some generic tobacco blends coming in between happyvaper and perfume apprentice, which are all 0nic. Be good to test the waters with flavoring, aaaaand im a coffee addict lol.

The odd thing is, all the canadian suppliers I run across all seem to carry only american tobacco flavors XD I did enjoy the camel and marlboro i picked up in the US a ways back so i'll probably get some from evapers.com (any first hand testimonials on taste?), with some unflavored from electronic-cigz.com to mix with the 0nic ones once i feel like playing around a bit ^_^

I do really miss the taste of a good export a blue though :s that was some good flavored tobacco ^^;

I guess this is as good a time as any to say thanks for the great resources made available in these forums, the quantity and quality available here is incredible. A bit overwhelming since theres so much, lol, i've been reading all day, but incredible none the less. Thanks muchly!

Nice to meet you, too, Kathars1s. :thumb:

I'll start off by saying I can't help with the quest for Canadian flavors, but I wanted to let you know that I identify with the desire to find them. I just recently started vaping myself, and I wanted to find something that was as similar to what I was smoking as possible. I haven't found that, but that's okay.

As far as the tobacco flavors, my understanding is that they taste like the tobacco smells before it's lit - not like the smoke you're used to inhaling. I've heard of a smoke flavor somewhere, but don't know anything about it - like whether it tastes like the smoke we all knew and loved or not.

But before I totally depress you, vaping is something new and different, and with it come new tastes and sensations. Even if you don't find the flavors you're looking for (and you might! :D), you're sure to find at least one flavor you love. It sounds like you're off to a good start with the flavors you ordered. I hope you love them! :toast:

Thanks for the replies!
I quite liked the smell of un-burned tobacco as well, so i'm curious to see what they really taste like. And thinking on it more its probably better they don't really taste like smoke anyway haha. A pure flavour might be more enjoyable? :)
The more research and reading and window shopping I do the more variety I seem to find ^^; Would be nice if there was something local, shipping costs are killer, but in reality it's still way better than an 11$ pack a day.

I'll definitely browse through the Canadian retailers again for that 'Do More Eh' juice. Thinking about it is almost a bit nostalgic haha. Got started with du Maurier one fateful day.

Hard part now is waiting for the priority next a.m. shipping.. that doesn't seem to be so next a.m. haha. Never been much a fan of Canada post :)

Thanks so much for the insight Little Girl, and appreciate the heads up DC2 ^_^ Thank you!

edit~

Wow timing or what. and how could I have missed vapables! It is a bit more than i've seen, but that's ok. Well worth a shot. Seems they also stock the american brands I was looking for too.

My hero! Haha

Thanks guys. Off to browse the goods ^^; Mountain Dew looks enticing hah

Hey again! lol kinda funny story.
I was out and missed the delivery guy this morning, and with canada post you have to wait till the next day to pick up missed packages, except tomorrow is canada day and there's no pickups! lol. So I figured no way. Called up the post office and gave them the run down, she wrote a note up for me and gave me directions to the mail carrier accross town so i could chase him down lol.
Long story short I got it and he didn't know what to think hah.

I got the starter kit from happyvaper, and im impressed. Jack's been real helpful this whole time. He even applied for a shipping refund from canada post since it was late lol, so i think i'll use that to get a PCC from him to help with carrying it around and keeping it charged.
Turns out he also fully charged both batts for 8 hours before shipping. I'm stunned at the level of service.

On to the experience! After unwrapping and before I did anything else I blew out the atomizer onto some tissue to try and minimize that taste i've been reading about. It didn't smell real bad inside though. I'm wondering if he pre primed it with something other than the usual factory stuff. Then i put 2 drops of the generic tobacco onto the atty to re-prime it.
The pre filled carts are completely topped up, which is pretty cool.

The first couple puffs were so so, some decent vapour and mild flavor.

After about the 5th good puff (its probably heated up and im getting used to taking slower drags lol) a nice big cloud of vape and a nice taste! hah. Was so excited.

Excellent first impressions. Works great right out of the box. The taste is good.

I was surprised it's actually a bit smaller and lighter than I was expecting. Which is pretty cool.
Now off to grab a glass of water and relaxing. 4 day weekend! :) Thanks so much everyone!

Now that's the best mailman stalking story yet! :D

I'm glad you're being well taken care of. :)

haha far from pro! definitely getting more comfortable with it though :) Caught the interest of a good friend of mine as well. he smokes heavy so it would be nice if he jumped on the wagon. maybe someday lol.

That sounds wonderful! I hope he gives it a try, and we'll happily welcome him here if he decides to join us all in vaping. :D
