Hi everyone,

I'm really glad I found this forum. I never realized how much information was on the web for E-Cigarettes.

I've spent a solid 2 days just looking for and researching all there is about these cigarettes and now have more information than what I know what to do with. I'd like to tell you all my smoking habits and what I am looking for and hopefully someone could help me narrow down my choices.

I smoke approximately 1.5 to 2 packs of Players cigarettes a day and have been smoking for 36 years. I have tried to quit many times and have failed miserably every single time. The patch and gum on the market cause me to get severe migrains so their out of the question and until now I did not think there would ever be anything that I could use to help me quit smoking.

I've been looking for an e-cigarette that is all white, the size of a regular Canadian cigarette, I normally smoke King Size, but would be OK with the shorter ones. I would like to have a system that is refillable, would like to get 3 batteries, (I know I'm going to need 3), 1 house charger, 1 car charger, and would like to get tobacco flavored juice and hopefully with nicotine. I also would like a supplier where I could buy all the necessary supplies for mixing my own flavors. I live in a small community in Northern Ontario and I want to have everything I will ever need the day I decide to stop smoking.

I have also read that I should go with the bigger battery packs as they last longer and if I'm not mistaken creates more vapor. I am planning on this but I don't want my attempt at quitting to fail again so I'm trying to stay as realistic to a normal cigarette as possible for the time being.

I have read many post of people asking for a list of Canadian supplier with nicotine and I'd love to have someone pm me with the list.

I'm actually looking forward for the first time in quitting and can't wait to order my first e-cigarettes.

Hello and Welcome,I also smoked for over 35yrs,1-3 packs a day from Marlboro,Marlboro light,American Spirit light.Took my first hit on an e-cig almost 6wks ago and haven't had a smoke since.Like you I tried EVERYTHING to quit, unsuccessfully.I also started with a e-cig that looked, felt, tasted like a real cig,as I thought that's what I needed. But after a week got tired of constantly charging batteries and got a Kgo (about the size of a sharpie marker)and still using it.Battery last me all day. Also I never liked menthol cigs but that's what tasted best (didn't care for tobacco flavor) with the e-cig.When you get 5 post you can go to different area of the forum to see if someone knows somewhere in Canada to purchase stuff.

Forget anything that looks like a cigarette. Take advantage of all the knowledge of the people in this forum, skip the "looks, feels and tastes" like a cigarette stage and go directly to the next level, which we all know you're going to eventually anyway. Get the cheapest ego style kit you can find (ego, kgo, etc) and a few stardusts or boge cartos and you'll be all set for under $75. 2 batteries is all you'll need because one will charge before the other one is exhausted and all the kits come with 2 batteries. Buy a few different juice flavors because you may not like the tobacco flavors. I smoked players for years and I honestly don't like the tobacco flavors.

I haven't quite figured out how it works but I thought I wanted the real cigarette looking devices and was talked into a KGO and it was the best move I made. I also thought I wanted tobacco flavor and bought some along with some cinnamon flavored juice. I found out I didn't really like the tobacco but could really taste the cinnamon and that became my favorite. Starting out I didn't have much in taste buds but the cinnamon cut through. I would suggest the KGO with some tobacco as well as other flavors and go for it.

Thanks for the fast replies. I've looked into the Kgo starter kits from the above links and they do ship to Canada. I will be calling them tomorrow to place an order and get a few questions answered. I think to be sure my attempt at quitting will not fail I will order a cheapy look-alike cigarette kit until I Feel confident that I can succeed at quitting to switch to the KGO.

I'm sure you will be hearing from me as soon as I receive my order for help and tips.
