Canadians: Ordered from Freedom Smoke USA?

I'm preparing to get into the art of DIY at the moment, and from the shopping around I've been doing it seems like my best bet is to order from Freedom Smoke USA. They have a great deal on 120ml of 100MG/ml juice, bottles of PG, empty bottles and syringes for good prices, so I'd love to get my stuff from there, and maybe my flavourings from FlavourArt, they seem to have an amazing selection at good prices, though I'm not sure what their shipping is like.

But shipping is my concern for FSUSA. Being in Canada and given Health Canada's edict on eCigs (the ignoramuses) I'm concerned that if I order from FSUSA it might get held up at the border, so if any Canadian has successfully ordered from them, how do they fill in the customs form? Would Customs be likely to open up and seize the shipment?

I would suggest you call dave on the 1 800 number on the front page of the site. I am sure he will be more the glad to answer any and all of your questions regarding customs forms and anything else. Personally the only thing i have heard about being stopped is shipments from china to the USA and that seems to be very rare, most make it threw.

That's comforting to know at least. Being the long weekend I'd probably have to wait to call. I understand I might have to pay duty, which I'm prepared for, but if at all possible I'd really like to get the main bits of my DIY supplies from there as he has the strongest liquid at the best price I've found. Otherwise I'd have to order the 60MG/ml 120ml bottle from GreenHouse One, and they drop ship from China.

Not only are the prices good but the liquids he uses are top of the line. All certified by US labs the vg is even kosher. I personally switched about a week ago to his liquids and can tell a difference from the Company i was using before. Really you don't have to wait to call although if you don't feel comfortable about it you could wait. He says call anytime on the website.

Getting things up to us in Canada isn't tough, but we do need to make sure the vendors know how to ship.

I haven't checked the Canada forum yet no, thanks. I did just do a search but no hits for Freedom Smoke, but no hits came up. I guess I'll have to call him, maybe tomorrow if he's around (it's labour day after all) or Tuesday and ask.

Very true, but you pay a pretty huge premium for the convenience of doing so. Compare $26 for 30ml of flavouring from FSUSA to 250ml for the same price direct from FlavourArt (or $4 for 20ml bottles). We're on a limited budget right now so we're trying to do this on the cheap, as there's my wife and I I'm mixing for, plus we just got her brother his own eGo so we'd like to do some up for him as well. Ordering direct from FlavourArt, we can get 10x20ml bottles in a variety of flavours for $40, which is an unbeatable deal and should give us a nice variety to try out -- more than we'll use up in our first set of batches. FSUSA has the rest I'll need though at excellent prices, so I definitely want to order through him for that.
