Ok tried the KR808, and well its ok. had a burnt carto and think that may have been the source of my problem...as well as PG. PLus I want something local that wont take 8+ days to ship.

So I ask you 401/402/403 vs 601? (vapor being important, TH next)

Love the PCC for the 401. can the 402's and 403's all use the same PCC? If so this may sway the decision heavily as I love the interchangability of those 40x series.

Im a casual vaper, size is important ( hehe I like smaller tho :p) like them to be as close to a anolog King Size, or 100 tops.

thanks!

As long as good throat hit, consistency, battery life or dripping are not a big deal to you, then any of the 40x's should work fine. They produce a good amount of vapor and look the closes like you are still smoking. I agree with sheep that the 601 doesn't meet your criteria of must look like a cigarette.

I don't have a 601 but I do have the 401/3. I really like it quite a bit. It produces a ton of vapor and the carts wick better than my 901 and 510. It takes less than .5ml to fill a cart but it lasts longer before you have to refill because it wicks so well. I keep the 401 manual batteries for home use and use the auto 403 batteries when I really need to stealth vape since they are so small. I have small hands but can easily hide the 403. TH is pretty decent too.

Edit to add: I don't have the PCC for it, just a USB charger for my Kensington power pack.

I have the 602 manual...honestly its not THAT much bigger than a 401. The TH/vapor is a bit better personally than the 401 series.

That being said, compatibility with other mods is non-existent as far as I know with the 60x series. I would love to find an adapter for it or even a usb passthrough...but none are available. With the 401...theres a passthrough and adapters available.

You can get a PCC for the 601 series (auto battery).

I know how you feel. I like the 602 i have a lot (manual, easy to fill, good throat hit), but it has its downsides (battery not the longest but i switched to a silver bullet for battery life, no options for mods).

I do like my 901 for passthrough and even on battery, but it is a little weak at 3.7v (great at 5v though).

Right now im on cartomizers at 6v on the Silver Bullet (or 510's at the same voltage). The cartomizers seem to work the best for me, but only at high voltage. Don't like it much at 3.7v.

Yup like Sean said no problem chargin M602's in the PCC.

Will the M602 passthrough be manual? will it be 3.7 or 5 volts?

What voltage does the M601/2 battery put out? Do the "Ultra" batts run at different voltage levels than the Smoore batts?

I have several Smoore M40x batts (around 2.8 volts), the Smoore M401 passthru (3.2 volts), and two Joye510 batts (around 3.2 volts). The M401 attys are really sweet on the 510 batt (with an adapter). This has been my vaping setup for a few days now and its a nice step up in performance from the lower voltage 40x batts. If you like the performance of the M401 on the passthru, well that's what you get on a 510 batt (except you can take it with you).

The diameter of the M401 carts matches an analog. I've tried the 510 cart and KR808 carto and they are wider. I prefer the slimmer feel of the M401 cart.

Anyway, back to 601... I'm wondering, in addition to a larger atty in the 601, do the 601 batts run at higher voltage as well?

I really wish there were thread adapters for the M601 (from 510/901/801 batts to 601 atty). I'm curious to try the atty, but I don't want to purchase batts and chargers that won't interoperate with my growing collection of other stuff including battery MODs (on order).

I really like the 401 atty (fantastic flavor and vapor), but suspect it will be overwhelmed when I put it on a full 3.7v battery MOD. So I'm wondering if the 601 atty is designed for greater voltage, and if so, where can I get thread adapters so I can try it with my existing hardware. 510 batt to 601 atty would work for me.

Seems like a tough road to introduce a new model with incompatible threads to the pre-existing models, will slow adoption (like my hesitance to pick a new atty despite wanting to). On the other hand, it's also an opportunity for a vendor to sell adapters for that new model (ah... hem... electronic-cigz.com).

Happy vaping!

So I did find thread adapters that work...anything to a 4081/103 works...just tried it...it makes the connection properly. I think the M602 cart doesnt drip liquid fast enough to vape at 6v...at 5v it might be ok...with a 3.7 mod its awesome. The amount of vapor and throat hit is great! BTW, i found one person who said it looks really close to a 103/4081 atomizer, bought a $4 adapter and figured what the hell, might as well try. I'm happy I did!

But with the typical batteries im pretty sure they run at the same voltages as the 401...as far as ohm resistance i dont have an idea.

Ah... thnx for that info about the threading in particular!

And here's a 510 batt adapter...
