Can someone direct me to a post or sticky of what the difference to all the different models (510, 808, 901, etc) I have bought two different units and they are not satisfying me. I am a 30+, 2 pack a day smoker and the two units suck, Fifty one Trio and Blu cig. Day one I burned down several carts and batteries but only smoked one pack of analogs. I am ready to pull the trigger on something that will give me the throat hit and vape that I crave, thanks. I have ejuice that should be here today and am going to try to refill what I have but I am ready to throw down on a mod unit. Please post some links of the different models and links to dealers that have what I am looking for, peace.

To completely replace analogs, I'm afraid the models you got are grossly inadequate for someone who smokes 2 PAD. You'll be charging your batteries every hour and it could get frustrating. The first thing you need are longer lasting batts, which means bigger batts. Tech just can't fit a lot of power into mini e-cigs yet. Consider at least these or bigger Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510 - be sure to click "20% off" on top of page. There are even more powerful batts, but I'm no expert.

You'll also probably want carts/cartos/tanks that hold more juice so you don't have to refill all the time, and that's a whole other story. Good to see you getting your own juice, prefilled cartos can get expensive.

Edit: carts/cartos/tanks, it's more personally preference. I'm using carts like little tanks, but cartos are more convenient on the go. Tanks could get tricky, but some folks love them.

I sit there and take about 8 to 10 pulls to even get what I need and then 5 minutes later I light up an analog wtf. I guess I am a heavy smoker and need something that I can get the hit I need. I am just not what sure to throw down on. It is a bit overwhelming with all the different sites, models and different units available. I can see that I need to upgrade to a device that does not look like an analog which I have no problem I am not sure which one to get. I have seen some pretty big devices and that is what I need to hold the juice, long batt life and with an atty to burn it up like I need and want. Please help me with some links and direct me to a device that will satisfy my need, thanks.

Hello Cobra GT!! I've got 2 stangs myself, so i'll offer up a bit of advice to you.
What you want is a REO GRAND. If you smoke as much as you say you do, the 18650 battery & 6ml bottle of juice in this thing will last you 2 days or so. Once you've found the REO you will not turn back to things like blu, or 510, 901, 808 standard ecigs.

Next, you will need to purchase your juice from Alien Visions if you were a tobacco smoker. Now, if you were a menthol smoker, you will need juice from Halo.

& there you have it :) Your personalized vaping experience in a nutshell, that is sure to vape similar to the way a GT Cobra runs. Although I normally compare my reo with ave sweet tart to a 7 series bmw. :)

You may need to go to an Ego or Riva 510 - a fat battery models. They are 650mah and up for battery charge so they can use the hotter LR (low resistance) parts. You also probably want juice ration high in PG and low in VG (PG lets through more hit and flavor, VG makes more visible vapor. I use 80PG/20VG)

Liberty-Flights.com Riva 510 (first press the 20% off upper left front page) - under $30 for 2 complete 750mah Rivas and theirs are 3.7v. They are the most popular EG clone and slightly higher voltage those those particular ones at that shop (they have the latest model from the correct Riva manufacturer). And look at the Egos.

You could even put the Blu cartos on it though I recommend BOge 510 cartos (blanks) - I use the standard resistance and if you have never filled blanks and kept them damp before you could practice with them (they won't singe as easily as the hotter LR 2.0 ones). And there are other kinds of cartos but cartomizer is the most popular way to vape and Boge are the most popular cartos so I recommend starting on them then trying more exotic kinds. I get the longest good performance with juices with 20% or less VG in them (even 10% more VG and I can feel the drag degrade) and I avoid juices that drop a lot of carto-clogging sediment in the stuffing. I am a moderate vaper and can get a week's use out of a Boge carto.

Other options would be other fat battery models, 3.7v mods, variable voltage mods. I don't recommend 5v and 6v mods - too limiting on what you can use on them and variable voltage will often include 5v or even 6v. But you are talking more money then for startup cost because you have to get the industrial AA-style batteries and charger too.

Yeah, Cobra, you may need something beyond what I'm using (click on this, it's a link Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510). But, you may need a 5 or 6 volt and the Riva is only 3.7v. Also, what's the nic in the juice you're getting? Nic is absorbed differently between analogs and vaping, namely less in vaping. You might need 26-30 mg nic juice.

It will take time to figure all this out and find your sweet spot, which is uniquely yours...have patience. :)

There are sub-forums here on ECF to all 3 vendors that I mentioned in my previous post. The Reo forum is the best & every single question you ever had regarding ohms, watts, vaping will be answered in there............it's not all just about Reos. The Reo saved my life :) Not to mention, they are super stylish with their sleek anodized finish. I know the price is an investment, but hey, if you smoked 2 packs a day, you would spend at least as much in cigs in 1 week, as you would on 1 REO that will last a lifetime. The mod is all mechanical, that means you could drop that sucker in the ocean, pull it out, dry it off, put a new battery in, & it's still gonna fire..................try doing that with an ego, or riva..................

Do yourself a favor & head on over to the Reo sub-forum, check out Rob's site, maybe even start a thread in the Reo sub forum that you are considering purchasing one, & ask any/every question you want. You are sure to get answers.

If you are too shy to do that, i'll be happy to answer your questions.

I would not go right to 5-6 volt when all he has tried so far is weak junk. Nobody needs to jump from Blu to 6v

I am not even vaping LR and some of my cartos get too hot for my lips (like Vapor4Life WOW carto on 3.7v which is what KR808D-1 is). I have to use a plastic drip tip as a cool mouthpiece. And he could get hotter than that with the Riva 510 and LR.

First I'd suggest upping your nic level to 18mg or 24mg, if your already there try 36mg. Second for better battery life and simplicity you may want to check out an E-Power 14650, I'm using one right now and just got a noob started on one. Third check out the Fluxomizer Deluxe from GotVapes, the XL holds 1.8ml and takes a while to drain and they don't leak so you can carry spares with you if you need to. Good luck and I hope you find what works for.

lmao on going from blu to 6V..............dang, even I can't vape at 6V.

The Reo is 3.7V, but you can make it 6 if you wanna get a little frisky.

After all the stuff I have smoked in my life I am up for the task. It is hard for me to throw $150 at an item, but you know what the stupid thing is I will spend a little over a $ 100 on two cartons of analogs a week with no problem and burn them down and enjoy it. Buy the way what kind of stangs do you have, I have a 97 Cobra with a new 2.2 Kenne Bell in the box w/ new 60# injectors and a whole bunch of stuff I need to make it work. I just haven’t had the time to put it on yet. I also have custom tune gears and a bunch of other thing done to it. hit me back, thanks.
