 After all the debate and the decision on the satin silver, I happened to look at pics on google for another thread... and the black keeps calling to me, I swear.

How does the clear Jwrap look on them? *innocent look*

I fell asleep on the couch the other day with my stealth. One of those couches with recliners on both ends. It fell all the way through the cushions, the recliner hardware & onto the floor. No scratches. No wrap. Just sayin' ;)

Oh, you haven't looked at the stealth yet? Oops. :)

The wrap won't be flexible enough to go into the little teardrops or lines (depending on Mini or Full sizes) but it will lend a glossy sheen to the overall effect.

Lol no, I actually have. I like the silver end caps though. The stealth is just a little too stealth for me. ;)

It's definitely purty zoiD! :) I like the silver, I just like the black too. Probably because the black looks so cool with the steel, and I do plan on tatroe rings.

I'm typically pretty careful with my mods. The only time I drop them is if I've forgotten that I put them in my lap and then stand up. Not that big a deal from the couch, but the car seat is another matter.

It's easier to put a rich-looking black wrap on a silver device and have it look good (there are a ton of different black materials you can choose from to make or buy a wrap) than it is to find a true metallic-looking wrap for a black device if one wants to have both options. That's MY reasoning, anyway. Not sure if that makes logical sense to anyone else...LOL

True, very true. But I was originally looking at it from an "aesthetic after scratching" point of view. As I got to thinking on it, back in the day when it was black or satin silver or nothing I always chose black. When it comes to e-Gos now days, I tend to lean toward jewel colors, or black if they don't have those. My current fave e-Go is a wine colored gloss followed by the black. When it came to wrapping my black rubber Lambo it was black ostrich, and I traded a stainless mech mod for it. I think I'm beginning to see a pattern here, and that Stormy was correct in her belief that I look like a black with blue LED.

Quick question; do I spring for the extended warranty or not? I tend to be one of those people that has something go pear shaped on the first day outside the warranty. :p Would the 25 bucks be better spent now, or would it cover something that might not happen farther down the road?
I did NOT spring for it, mainly because the company is so good about looking after its products even after the warranty expires, at extremely reasonable prices. For someone else it might be an added ease for their mind.

I keep seeing this thread at the top so I might as well chime in :) Black is the only way to go! :D It looks amazing, goes with all my clothing, car (and toppers). If the black finish eventually gets messed up you can put a wrap on it. I have a polished as well and always choose the black one over it.

Black, blue, no extended. Just my vote :)

But I have to go extended somehow Ozwald. Love my 18650 all day batteries, so it's tatroe with a stock cap, since I prefer the stock over the solid color Provape extended. :)

Truthfully, I'm more easy minded with the black choice, so I'm guessing that's that.

I went with silver myself (It shipped today!:2cool:)just for the finish durability and slightly cheaper price. I figure I'll throw a black carbon fiber wrap on it if the silver is too much. I do love the look of the black ones, but I know I would eventually bang the finish all to hell as I intend to use this thing all day, everyday, for many years. That mean is going to be with me in the car, at the office, in my pocket while I do yard work, etc.

I did spring for the blue led because it's purdy, and I went with the extended warranty. I may never need to use it, but it's cheap peace of mind. I figure the extra warranty only costs $2.07 a month for that second year.

I think that is exactly what I'm going to end up getting too. I love my 18650 batteries too plus I have 6 of them already. I also think I've decided on the black. I'm still fairly certain that I'll end up ordering a second one before Christmas.

You can get the mini and still use the 650. I think the twins look best with the black mini.
