Can't Post New Thread in the New Members forum?

Is the "Post New Thread" button missing in the New Members area for anyone else?

After you reach a certain number of posts, I think it doesn't allow you to start new threads in there, not sure but thats what I have read before.

yeah I found it, after 70 posts you can't start new threads. Which sucks because I found a nifty chart to help determine wattage based on Voltage and Resistance without having to go use a calculator and know anything about Ohm's law. I figured it belonged in the New Members area.

Yep, the New Member's Forum is for "New Members" and once you reach 70 you can't post anymore, which lets me out since I'm 73.

You can answer posts you just can't start new threads.

So, I can post to an already existing thread, but I can't start a new one because I'm over 70?

That is correct. You can now only create new threads in every Sub Forum except the New Members section.
