Can't put back fully the RTA topcap

I don't think it's the same problem but I had taken mine apart and it wouldn't go back together right. The o ring that sits inside the metal cage and meets up with the glass had move out of the groove and it was a real pain getting it back in place so the glass would sit flush.

actually i was thinking about that o-ring before, it might help let me try

Yes, yours looks fine. Mine came out when I took it apart and it's not easy to get it back into that groove with the cage in the way.

i pulled it out flipped it put it back in like 15 seconds
(small skinny fingers are OP)
but ye my problem still presists T.T

My o ring had stuck to the bottom of the glass and was a little out of shape. I had to hold one side with a toothpick while I get it in the groove the rest of the way around.

I'm at a loss as to why your top cap isn't fitting properly. I've looked at mine for possible clues as to why this is happening with yours but I am not finding anything.

I am going to ask our resident Brunhilde person if he has any ideas. He's in Australia and usually doesn't come online until around 7am Melbourne time.

@Daniel Forsyth, do you have any ideas that might help?

It looks like everything that I would have mentioned has already been covered Mate, I must say I'm at a complete loss fortunately this problem has never happened to any of my Brunhilde's

i mean it's still working just now it's not for traveling
(i also miss 1 wire, cus it fell down the sink but you didn't see anything)
but tbh i already wanted to buy a different rta, with a bigger deck, and what is not top coiler so anything can happen from now on
