Ok so make sure it is pushed into the base completely screw the base on to the mod and just bump the button to see if it reads the coil. If it reads the coil then you can reassemble the tank and prime the coil. Remember you are just seeing if it reads not actually firing the mod. So you just need to tap the button not press and hold. I am not familiar with this tank so best I can do for advice.

Thank you for your reply. I'm not sure if mine screws on or just pushes on. I don't see any threads on the coil by trying to look in the open side of the coil. When I took out the original coil, I just pulled it out. No unscrewing.

what most likely happened is when you removed the base to get the tank apart the coil unscrewed with it instead of staying put like its suppose to.
It happens.
Always screw the new coil into the base tightly, not so tight you need additional hardware to remove it tho, then put the whole tank back together.
You should be good to go then.

:)

Assuming you're asking about a kangar subtank mini.

If you're asking about a coil like is used with the RBA deck, it has 2 phillips heads screws that trap the coil legs to the posts.

If you're asking about a replacement head (coil & wicking material in a single replacable unit) they thread into the base.
If you pulled the old one out instead of unscrewing it you may have left debris in the base threads from the old head threads or stripped the threads out of the base itself.

Thank you Topwater. I have it working great now.
So glad we could help.
If you ever decide to use the rta that came with the tank just let us know and we can walk/talk you through it. It is also easy as can be and is definitely cheaper to build your own coils as opposed to continue buying the premade stock coil heads.

The rba is the first image on the left side of screen and has a tiny screw on the side.
The stock coils are the two that are on the right of it.
Can you tell us which one you are using?

Thank you. I really appreciate that. I'm still pretty dumb about the subtank mini. I don't know if it came with a rta. One good thing that came out of this is I started vaping on my dripper again. Fun to get more vapor for a while.

If it helps on the rta part, none of the coils that came with the tank have screws on them.
Now you have me confused. Dripper? The subtank mini is a tank that takes either stock coils or the rta shown in pic and both screw into the tank filled with eliquid then put back together.
So I am unclear as to why you are using the term dripper

@Sugar_and_Spice, yes the coil on the far left is the one I have. All my coils are round. I don't have any of of the square kinds.

What I meant about the dripper was, since my subtank mini was not working. I started using my mutation X dripper. Haven't used it in a while. I used it every day until I got the subtank. The subtank allowed me to be lazy and I haven't used clearomizers in years.

Hope this explains things a bit?

Yep...clear as mud. If you have been vaping for years how is it you didn't know to screw it into the base? Never mind, I don't really think I want to know

It is only cheaper to build your own coils if you don't change builds as much as me.

Dare I ask why you change them up that often? Let's see.....something to keep you busy? Want to try as many as possible as soon as possible? Vape dark heavy ejuices that gunk up easily? Should I continue?
LOL
