Well as far as i looked into the ipv4 does not have a charging port that is strictly for upgrades i dont trust pass through any device with pass through i pull out the batteries and throw them in my nitecore d4 im not really a fan of of the feel of snowwolf 200 i love the feel of ipv4 i think evic is a lil small but has nice weight believe me this is week of trying to choose my new tc device is been a work out but i got down to ipv4 and evic like i said my dad has evic i have used it and its a nice lil mod
O yea me n my dad only have 15 years between so we are like really good friends rather than son n father but any way is it the original preorder release models of ipv4 with problem have any black models had any problems bc i waited it out for all black and for second third batxhes to roll on
Mine is a Black. The problem is not from using the on-board charger. The problem is that the charge board is touching the top screw post and/or 510 pin with poorly installed insulation. This is causing an uneven battery discharge. It could easily be fixed with some electrical tape. But just in case I'm wrong, I'm sending it in. (I did look inside, and yes, the screw post is badly insulated.)O yea me n my dad only have 15 years between so we are like really good friends rather than son n father but any way is it the original preorder release models of ipv4 with problem have any black models had any problems bc i waited it out for all black and for second third batxhes to roll on
Thank you for the advice im going to have look inside to see what you talking about so the board is touching 510 which is causing a short of some sort to cause it to burn up or catch fire as others stated also i would to take the mod completely apart to see this now what exactly am i looking forMine is a Black. I understand where you are coming from. I am using my phone to type, so it is not the easiest or greatest way to add punctuation.I'm not trying to be a jerk (it just comes naturally, lol), but this is painful to read. Commas, periods, etc... are your friends.
man you just quit for 170 day but you already build your collection...The IPV4 is MUCH bigger than the evic-VT. If you look at my avatar pic, the evic-VT is all the way on the left, and the IPV4 is all the way to the right.
Check YouTube. There are at least 2 videos on this. Very easy fix. You don't have to take the whole thing apart. Just pull out the charge board, put a piece of electrical tape where the it's close to the 510 and the top screw post. That's all you need to do.Thank you for the advice im going to have look inside to see what you talking about so the board is touching 510 which is causing a short of some sort to cause it to burn up or catch fire as others stated also i would to take the mod completely apart to see this now what exactly am i looking for
