@Terry Koontz well good for you but ordering from there might be fakes. But if you can order for cheaper no idea why you're ordering from canada then... Or why you're telling me this lolz
Because so far they are the only place I’ve found that has what I want at a great price.

I was going to order some items from canvape.com.
They have very good prices.
When I went to checkout, I found out that they charge a flat $25 for shipping !
That’s crazy !!!

Sounds cheap to me. Try pricing out the same shipment from the US to Canada.

Really ? $25.
From overseas is much cheaper.
I don’t want to start a border war here.
Just the first time ever seen that kind of charge for shipping.
If you're outside canada it's most likely why shipping costs more. After all i'm 90% sure it's illegal to export tobaco product too over here (vaping is considered smoking pretty much, and it's illegal to import vape products). It may have to do with distance or something but i really have no idea. But yeah not cheap at all (i had 10$ shipping for a single bottle of ejuice maybe you had higher cost because you had more stuff ?)

No, it’s a flat fee, $25 from canvape.
I was going to order 1 item that cost $4.50

From overseas or from China.

China has cheap labor and economies of scale.

That's pretty standard in Canada, our postal system sucks most days... Keep in mind that's CAD so 10$ = 8 USD.
I've ordered e-juice once online lolz and i had to wait basically until the end to have tracking information from canadapost xD,and for the first time in my life the guy came and delivered to my door 0.0 i was shocked usually they just leave a little paper to say they "came and had no answer at the door" then you have to wait some more to pick it up somewhere else.

Eight bucks is not bad for ground shipping (li-ion batteries must go ground) over a long distance.

Try ordering a mod with an internal battery from FastTech and you might get your package a month later.

Volume shipped for a vendor matters, too. If mom n' pop only ship a few lbs a month, they pay full rate. If they ship a few thousand lbs, shippers make a deal.
