To all those CAP NY Cheesecake lovers!

Many, like myself, followed Stevo's Custard thread and LOVE what that evolved into. There were pages of great suggestions and mixes. It really helped me start thinking creatively and moving in the right direction.

Here is my attempt to create a similar thread... one that focuses perfect creamy cheesecake. As I'm sure many of you know, Capella NY Cheesecake is a FANTASTIC flavor. It requires a LONG steep time, just like Vanilla Custard, to reach that magical point. But when it gets there, OH BOY, is it good! It cannot be rushed either =].

The base recipe that really turned me Cheesecake is...

8% CAP NY Cheesecake
8% TFA Strawberry Ripe
3% TFA Graham Cracker
3% 10% Ethyl Maltol

It's a fantastic recipe. It really opened my eyes to the delicious world of ejuice.

I want to help you and myself. Let's build a recipe together as a community... the perfect Cheesecake!

Currently, I have a slightly modified version that I love. I added some Marshmallow, decreased the EM, and added a bit more Cheesecake.

- Do you have a KILLER cheesecake blend? Do you want help making it better?

Then WELCOME to bmilcs Cheesecake Thread!

Thanks for this, probably read this moments after you posted it.
I just received my first Capella order the other day AND scored about 50 bottles of flavoring ( all TFA )from a local B&M guy who decided to not make his own line of juice!!!!
SO I had all the right flavors and made up a 20ml batch.....haven't tried it yet.....will add the marshmellow as you stated and let you know what I think.
Thanks again as I'm just really trying my hand at this again after a year......beginning failures and lost interest.......but I have read anything and everything I can and have already made some vapable and duplicatable mixes....yeah! :toast:

If the flavor is muted, reduce your Ethyl Maltol. The 3% was suggested by the original recipe, but I dropped it and added Marshmallow to smooth out any harshness. I could literally vape cheesecake all day everyday. I have a hard time keeping the creaminess while maintaining a slight fruity flavor. I do not have any citric acid :(. I would love to get my hands on some but I fear additives in the ones I see online. I only need like what? 15 ml or something. People use 1-2 drops per mix :)

can't wait to attempt this one. All I'm missing is the EM, but I do have cotton candy, think that would work? Won't be able to mix probably until thursday, and may take awhile to report back due to the steep time. Last recipe I made with ny cheesecake did take awhile on the steeping but after the steep was really good. I think I only gave it a bit over a week, but that was plenty of hot water baths and shakes and sitting in a dark cupboard with the cap off, but that time really made a difference in flavor for the better.

Thanks fellas! I am DYING to hear your successful additions to the mix! I will share some of mine once I let it steep longer.

Seriously, Cheesecake needs at minimum 3 weeks to fully develop. It's a drastic change :)

I love a good cheesecake but have never been able to steep it any longer than 72 hrs:D Need to order some cap's NY Cheesecake and mix this up :toast:

One of my ADVs is Boston Cream Cheesecake (I don't know who To give credit to for the original recipe) but I use the CAP NY Cheesecake, and TFA Caramel Candy, it's delicious after about 5 weeks.

My version is:

TPA Milk Chocolate 5%
Cap NY Cheesecake 5%
Cap VC 4%
TPA Bavarian Cream 4%
TPA Caramel Candy 2%

I mixed a different version this morning using FW Salted Caramel @3% and added TPA Sweetner @2%, I haven't tried yet but hopefully it will be delicious too!
Next mixing session I'll have to try your recipe, it sound delicious, thanks for sharing :)

I hated Cap NY cheesecake when I 1st tried it, even gave it about a month steep tried it again, tried mixing it with a a few different flavors, nope didn't like it.. Last week it's about two and half months since mixed, Its absolutely fantastic. Will give this recipe a go my next order just ordered a whole bunch of flavors, did not see the recipe would have threw the strawberry in too.

I did hot steep the NY cheesecake and it speeds up steeping considerably, 15 secs in microwave, cap loose ready in a week..

Made this recipe exactly 7 days ago, at a 25/75 ratio, 2% EM, and have almost zero flavor :( I'll either bump the percentages 1%, or go a bit higher in the vg.

edit: Thank you for posting though. :)

It can be vapors tongue or a bad atomizer.
The ny cheesecake has huge flavor at 2% with a good built atomizer for the fully saturated 8% is it..

I always brush my teeth with minty toothpaste then rinse well and try new flavors. For some reason the tooth brushing allows me to taste better.. When I think an e juice is bland I do that and it helps a lot. Cold ejuice in a warm room also mutes taste...
