i have mixed up all capella flavours.. in 10ml samples literally every single capella flavour at the same time apart from butter n cake batter n the additives etc.. i mixed at 20% 50/50 with 6mg nic just to see what they are like at max percentage... big mistake!!!! after 1-2 weeks of steeping every flavour makes me want to throw up after 1/4 of a tank and makes me have sickness for a good hour or so after... 15% for every flavour would be just right in my opinion just enough to taste it but with out the part that makes you want to throw up after a little vape!

Easy fix Take a 30 ml bottle mix up 10 ml at 10% add your 20 % then you have your 15%.Or make it a little weaker that way you could always add more flavor later :)

so by doing this i would end up with 20ml of liquid at 15% flavour?

If you mix one 10ml of your 20% with a 10ml of unflavored base then you'd have 20ml of liquid at 10% flavor. Getting to 15% by adding to just 10ml is a little hard to measure, but adding 3.5ml of base to 10ml would give you 13.5 ml at 14.8 percent and maybe that's close enough?

also do i still have to add the nicotine into the 10ml mix in the 30ml bottle
Yes to keep the same nicotine level. If you want more flavor you would need to calculate that out. Like Danny said you also could just add more
base= vg/pg+nicotine I wouldn't try tweaking it too many times easier to try fix it once then make a different batch from scratch

what would the ratio be if say i wanted to end up at 16%/

Flavor Percentage is given by Total Flavor divided by Total Volume.

If you are at 20% Flavoring for 10ml, then you have 2ml of Flavoring in 10ml of e-Liquid

.2 x 10 = 2

To get to 16% Flavoring, we are going to add some Unflavored. Let X = Amount of Unflavored to add. From our Flavoring Formula we have,

(2) / (10 + X) = .16

Turning the Wrench using Algebra...

=> 2 = .16(10 + X)
=> 2 = 1.6 + 1.6X
=> 2 - 1.6 = .16X
=> .4 = .16X
=>.4 / 1.6 = X
=> X = .4 / 1.6
=> X = 2.5

So it sounds like if we add 2.5ml of Unflavored to our 10ml @ 20% Flavoring we should get 12.5 @ 16% Flavoring.

Let's Check it.

2 /12.5 = .16

.16 = 16%

Looks Good.

(Disclaimer: I did this Old School with a Pencil and a Piece of Paper. I also haven't had much Coffee yet. So Someone should check my Math)

thank you for your quick reply's what would be the method for say reaching 16% total flavour/ how much unflavoured base would i have to add to make it at 16% total flavouring?

I don't think going from 15 to 16% will make much of a difference but .1ml would represent ruffly 1% based on a 10 ml mix.

Why do "Close Enough" when it is as Easy to do what you Want?

Also, knowing how to Adjust a Flavoring Ratio to any amount is a Nice Tool to have in One's Toolbox.

:)

Best thing to do then would be start over from scratch to get the best result instead of keep trying to fix it stronger or weaker too many chances for error :glare:

If they don't know what they like to start with it is best to start low and add move flavor it is much easier that way:toast:

I also Agree. And I like what Danny suggest once in another thread.

Instead of doing a Test Batch at a Low Strength, letting it Steep, Testing, adding More Flavoring, let it Steep, Test, add more Flavoring,...

Why not just Mix a 10ml Batch at 7.5%, 10%, 12.5%, 15%, and 17.5% Flavoring? Then see which Flavoring Ratio is Best.

That way you don't have to keep letting things Steep. And you Don't run the risk of Kacking while Adding Flavorings to an Existing e-Liquid.

What Danny says is right on :evil: start from scratch
