Wow, they have a ton of flavors I want to try, but I am still confused about how to do it (and I have read a ton of posts, i'm just not getting it) Do I just order some unflavored nic juice and put some drops in or is there more to it then that? I found unflavored juice at myfreedomsmoke but it is 48 mg is there a way to cut this down to about 24mg? Or should I look elsewhere for the juice? I really want to try some their flavors (already starting a shopping cart), but I'd hate to OD because I'm not a chemist!

Also I assume you guys orderd the classic and premium drops as opposed the sweetner or drops for water.

I got my 48mg from myfreedomsmokes and I love it. I use VG and cut it down to about 12mg. then add a little flavor. You don't need to be a chemist.:D

Thats really it, cut down the 48 mg stuff then ad the flavoring? Sounds to simple.

Can anyone suggest a good place to get either PG or VG. Also which one is best for flavor (I keep getting all that mixed up)

I noticed on the eJuice Recipe Calculator that they have a percentage you can add in for the flavoring. What percent of flavorings do most people use. Is there a percent that would be to much for the atty?

I don't know about the pg because I get my 48mg already in pg(I like to add the vg because it gives killer vapor) but for VG do a search for NOW foods vegetable glycerine. It is about $10 after shipping for 16oz. thas a lot of VG for $10. For the flavoring, I kinda wing it, I add alittle and if its too weak I add a little more. I'm no chemist either, lol.

Well it is nice to know there is no special degree needed to do all this.

I'm assuming the 48mg on myfreedomsmokes has PG in it already.

I also scrolled a little further down the page... It looks like they sell the PG as well!

So I guess I'll just get the 48mg juice and the PG from myfreedomsmokes order up some flavoring from Capella and follow the number of drops on the eJuice recipe calculator to mix a batch at 18mg! Hopefully if I am missing something someone will post before it is to late!

VG can be really thick so some people add distilled water or vodka to thin it down some. I use between 25 to 50% VG in my mixes and have not needed to thin them so far.I was able to get the glycerin at my local pharmacy. They didn't have any on the shelf so they ordered it for me and it came the next day. I also got my PG there. Just make sure that what you get is either labeled food grade or USP.

I've started dripping instead of filling carts, and I absolutely love it...makes life so much simpler. Anyway, I also figured out another plus to dripping...trying/switching flavors! When I'm trying out new stuff, I 'season' my atty with a drop of the flavor, and then put a drop or two of unflavored VG (use just straight VG when I'm trying something new out) on top of it. I'll keep dripping unflavored until the flavor dies down, and then try a new flavor. It also lets you easily tell how strong the flavor is, since you're basically starting out at about a 50-50 ratio. In the evenings, when I have my flavor bar around, I'll flip thru several of my favorite flavors. Here's a rundown on what I've tried:

Hazelnut - my very favorite. Has a sweet almost burnt sugar flavor. I keep a bottle of this made up as my main go to vape.
Creme brulee - tastes like it's namesake. Very mild, but very tasty. Would be great mixed with just about anything
French vanilla - didn't care for it. Had an odd twang to it
Coconut biscotti - Thought I wouldn't like this, cause I don't like the chemical taste of fake coconut, but this was pretty good...reminded me of coconut cream pie. I'm going to try it again on a clean atty, cause I tried it after Cinnamon sticky bun, and that could have influenced it
Cinnamon sticky bun - It's odd with some of these how much they taste like their name. This wasn't hugely sweet, but it did taste like a cinnamon bun
Graham cracker - This wasn't very sweet, but it did taste like a graham cracker, but with some cinnamon sprinkled on it.
Pumpkin pie - I don't know that this tasted like the pie, but it did taste like the spices in the pie.

All of the above flavors I consider keepers, and would buy again, except for the french vanilla. You could also mix and match between them to come up with some interesting flavors. And any of them would be good with coffee flavor (wish I'd ordered some now) The pumpkin pie really interests me, cause it's an unusual spice flavor...would probably be really tasty mixed with the creme brulee (make it an eggnog flavor?)

Also, I like these Capella flavors alot more than the Loranns. They're lighter, but they're a cleaner flavor. I've only gone thru about half of my Capella order. I'll post an update as I go thru the rest of them.

Thanks for the reviews! Graham Cracker is definitely going on my list to try, but I wouldn't have ever imagined vapeing graham cracker of all things!

My own experience:

Blueberry: Yummy but a little weak. I have some JuicyLiquids blueberry flavoring coming, so I'll have something to compare with. I really must have blueberry. Really, must.

Chocolate Fudge Brownie: Wow, delicious and strong. I had mixed this at 25% because I heard Capella's flavors were weak, but it was too much. Cut it down with butterscotch juice and now I just want to eat my e-cig... mmmm..

French Vanilla: Foul. I should try it again just to be fair and see if my first impression was correct, but honestly, I'm afraid to.

More as I try them!

Mixed up some Thin Mint using Cool Mint and Double Chocolate and it's fantastic! The Coffee Bean was a little bitter for me (I like my coffee with lots of cream and sugar), and the Kalua and Cream was a little sweet. My solution was to mix the 2 and it's really yummy. The Peanut Butter is like crunching on fresh roasted peanuts, very good. And mixed with the Double Choc it's a good peanut butter cup flavor. The Banana tasted like Banana Now and Laters to me. Really want to try it mixed with the Butterscotch, which is also really good alone. Can you tell I've been tasting like crazy?

I was glad to read this to know it wasn't just me. I like vanilla, but this was the only flavor I've tried so far that I thought was just plain bad.

Has anybody tried the french toast or almond yet? After the hazelnut (I could roll in that stuff) and tasty pastry stuff, these sound like good ones to try. What fun!!!!

Some of the flavors are dark, they have caramel color, but none of them have artificial colors that I have found.

I tried the French Toast and it's really good. Very strong maple syrup taste. I think I'm going to dedicate one atty to it though because it did stay in my atty until I used something else really strong. (and I just got the 20 atty's I ordered from Health Cabin so I can dedicate attys for strong flavors)

moorea - as for mixing percentages, i started with 20% flavor (the rest, plug in the mix calculator til you get your results to 100%) but i think the flavor is very light. i'd say start about 25% and see if you like that, but may need to increase a bit to make up for taste.

it's really all personal preference, but a good start is 20% flavor.

Hmm, wonder what purpose the coloring has in a flavoring. I'm 'bout ready to try my hand at mixing up my own. Seems the heavier the coloring in some of the juices I've used the less the atomizers like it. Could well be my imagination no doubt.

Any thought as to whether or not heavier colorings affect atomizer performance?

I hear ya! I thought it sounded a little odd and I rarely eat graham crackers but I kept hearing it was really good so ordered it out of curiosity and I'm glad i did. It's like the comfort food of e-juice, if that makes sense. I goofed and topped off a graham cracker cart with pralines & cream, YUMMY!!
they sent my order without the choc fudge brownie, it's backordered so it must be popular! I hope I don't have to wait too long to get it.

Chocolate from 3 different vendors. 2 equaled woopie, 1 amounted to blecchh.

Base - 24mg 66/33 PG/VG

2 drops Capellas Double Chocolate per ml. Tried 4 drops/ml, proved too strong, adjusted to 2drops/ml and oh yeah!

Reminds me of the best part of making fudge, scraping the sides of the pot. Krinkly, almost sharp, perfect chocolate delicousness!

I've been struggling to stay at 24mg for the last few days, really been wanting to climb inside my stash of 36 and steam. This very basic chocolate saves the day in the best of flavor.

Chocolate, the poor mans Prozac!!
