Yeah the passthrough is the only possible issue here, charging will work fine of course. I don't currently own a 901 passthru so I'm unable to put a meter on it and see exactly what the draw is.

Problem is that little inverter may not have a current limiter on the USB output. If you're lucky it has an external fuse you can change. (Not likely with something so small.) If you're not-so-lucky you can take it apart and change the blown fuse. If you're really really unlucky there's nothing at all in there and bad stuff can happen.

So that's the problem with "just trying" the passthrough.

Which charger are you using? A USB charger or the 120 VAC charger? Either way, nothing bad would happen to your battery regardless, if your inverter is working properly. Only way I'd see anything happening to your ecig equipment is if your inverter's usb port got forked and started outputting massive voltage.

I don't think anyone said the passthru was a _definite_ no-go. And if you're not worried about your $20 inverter at _all_ then personally I'd just try the passthru, if I wanted it to work that badly. For $20 it would be an interesting experiment. Either you'd get decreased vapor or you would blow a fuse in your inverter. But certainly not damange your ecig stuff.

Again, charging is fine though.

By the way, you really got a 200W inverter with a USB port for only $20?? Man, those tiny inverters are getting _cheap_!!
