Carbon - Passthru version

This is a variation of the Carbon mod, but in Passthru form. It utilizes a detachable dc-usb cable. The thought behind this was to have multiple cables throughout the vaping locations, i.e. computer, car, etc. The user would just detach the main unit from the cord and take it to wherever they have an extra cable.

I have seen you post some very nice mods and these are not something you are going to make in your garage, Or to simply be a one off.
Unless of course you happen to own some plastic molding equipment.
You are obviously having these manufacturing these somewhere right now. Is this like the unveiling of them?

No this passthru was a one off as I had parts and wanted to play around with some ideas. Passthru in general I think is not necessary if you can easily make battery mods. This PT actually takes more effort to make than normal battery mods.

FWIW, I haven't used a passthrough much since I got my first pipe prototype working. Since it's got enough battery power for 2+ days of vaping without a recharge (although the last 4-6 hours the vapor is kind of weak), it just hasn't been worth it (but then, I don't like high-temp vaping even though I'm going to make pipes with it as an option). Juggling cables and trying to find where I left my real PV every time I go out is a PITA.

That being said, I like the look of yours. If you could get a charging circuit wedged in there so it was both passthrough and battery mod, I'd be all over that.

The body on that looks like some kind of lighter . I have a few lighters stripped and put aside for modding
