To me, the cartomizers definitely mute the flavor.
As someone who has only fairly recently quit the analogs, strong flavor is important to me.

I tried a Ego Vision (Stardust) and it made such a huge difference in flavor and throat hit!

I still have a few cartomizers for those dark heavy juices that may clog up my clearos, but generally, I'm a Stardust gal all the way!

when a carto is working correctly it's a thing of beauty, but I had problems keeping that balance. I've only tried one style of clearo so far, the volt x2 clearo which is very similar to Stardust, & it suits my style better, which borders on chain vaping at times. I really enjoy the flavor of a perfectly functioning carto but the clearos taste great too and in my brief experience with them (3 days) offer more consistency, especially if you vape frequently.

I highly recommend the Vivi Nova. I use these exclusively now and couldn't be happier. Fill them and go and enjoy great flavour and vapour. Of the five I keep in rotation, I've only had one leak because I didn't get the top cap tight enough.

The easily cleanable and replaceable heads are a huge plus too. And for around $15 they can't be beat.

They look real nice on the ProVari too. :2c:

I like them both, i have a 1100mah kgo, and for me smoktech 1.7ohm cartos are the way to go, although i do like the idea of the stardust (clearo's), i got a couple and the flavor is kinda muted, but they produce a ton of vapor. I'm still undecided, so maybe get both and see what you like- they are cheap enough to do that-
