Hi All:

Pretty new here and I was exited as today is payday and I planned all week on ordering a VK from V4L today. I am currently an ultra light/light smoker so I figured something in the 11mg - 18mg area would be about right.

I went on their site and they have pretty much nothing available in the 5 flavors I had decided on. I could understand 1 or 2 of them, but there is nothing in any of them. Cappacino, French Pipe, Pomegranite, Coffee, Vanilla. Either 0mg only or 36 mg. So now I have the money to buy, but no stock of any flavors I want. Is this common for them to be out of everything that is popular?

I'm very sad I was major jazzed to order today.

Steve had made mention before that a HUGE shipment was held up in customs. Correct me if I am wrong on that. Also, China taking a long cultural holiday also added to the issues.

He's regularly keeping us updated on when things are going to be restocked.

I feel ya on the frustration...I have been eagerly waiting for Grape, Pineapple and Orange for some time now.

Unfortunately, it is common. V4L customers are constantly ordering! I've been waiting for chocolate to be restocked for awhile....

I know Steve said he had set aside some of the flavors to make sure he had them for the kits. So why don't you either call him or send him an email to see what you could get with a kit (think you get a box of 5 no matter which kit you order). His phone # is right on the site; the contact button is near the bottom on the left side in the "Misc Info" box. I'm sure he will help you out.

If the above doesn't work out, I have some French Pipe (24mg), Coffee (24mg), and Cappacino (16mg) that I had planned to list over in our swap forum thread on the V4L Facebook. I have 4 cartos of each flavor. So if you can't get one of the ones you want from Steve, just let me know and we'll work something out.

BTW, there's nothing wrong with my cartos -- I've just discovered that I like the non-tobacco ones a lot better. Technically, cappucinno isn't a tobacco flavor, but that's how it tastes to me. I like the fruity ones, vanilla, and cola the best.

Explanations for shortage:
1. Extreme increase in business,
2. at a time when China went on a 2 week vacation
3. Steve broke up some 5 packs of cartomizers to be able to provide samples with starter kits. (a case of darned if he did and darned if he didn't but it was his choice at the moment)
4. Customs get some orders (at will) and don't allow them in. DUMB
5. Huge popularity of V4L products, (see #1), due to excellent service and support, among other things.
6. Ultimately Steve has been so generous he's on the verge of giving samples to all comers.

In the end all "GOOD" things will come to he/she who waits.

Oh, and BTW: Steve is far from the only supplier with stock issues at the moment.

customs takes their time with everything! they do not understand "time" like normal people and do not care that businesses need to have their product in a timely manner. customs held one of our flights up by almost 3 hours because they just don't flipping care (it does not take 2.5 hours to drive from one end of the airport to the other). and if you bug them, they will take even longer - it is called power tripping. grrrrrrr. *shakes fist angrily*
