Upon refilling my carts that came with my e-cig several times, I noticed the fill beginning to pull out of each cart a little each time I removed one from the atty. Does this mean it's time for me to get new carts, or can they still be used? The fill is still in the cart, it's just getting pulled out a little. It's more... What's the word?.. Seperated, maybe? Yeah. More seperated than they were than when I just purchased them. The carts will still hold e-liquid fine. I was told by the clerk at my tobacco store that the carts can be reused as much as you want to reuse them, but I'm not sure if she knew what she was talking about. Can anyone clear this up for me? It would be greatly appreciated :)

You can also buy stuff to replace the filler, and other options.

This happened a lot to me when I first started vaping. What was happening is the polyfill was snagging on the atomizer bridge. If you want something better than polyfill, then try blue foam. It's the foam used in fish tank filters and can be found at most stores that sell tropical fish. Lots of people switch to blue foam because it wicks better right down to the bottom of the cart and makes the juice taste better. It doesn't seem to snag on the bridge either. Just make sure you don't have your filler material above the edge of the cart (shouldn't be sticking out). It should be flush or slightly below the edge of the cart.

Oooo, the blue foam sounds like a pretty good idea. Thanks for the advice! Do you think they'll have something like that at Petsmart?

Petsmart is where I got my blue foam.

Its not just any blue foam, you need the Marineland Rite size "U". There are 3 sleeves in a package.....enough foam to last virtually forever. Wash it first in warm water and dish soap. Let it dry and cut it to about the same size as the original filler. A small pair of tweezers helps to install it into the cart.
