Cart questions

I have an M401 and I'm really enjoying it. But I want to know if all carts have that extra cup inside that holds the stuffing because I have a hard time with the draw when I top off. I don't know if I miss doing something but it's not working great. Right now I'm just dripping and using blank carts but I'd like to be able to top off carts and use them.

These ecigs are really helping me to cut down major on analogs but it's a lot of fuss: charging batteries, cleaning atomisers, dripping, topping, etc. Its ok when I'm home but when I'm at work or driving I can't keep dripping.

What do I need to do to keep a decent vapor more consistently without all the chronic work of it?

I will second that , your looking/waiting in anticipation for the same thing as me I think. A cartridge with a reservoir which holds enough liquid for a good hours vape and doesn't spill in my mouth (yuk)when I have had the e-cig upside down .

I generally have the same problem with topping off the carts, and have been dripping with just the empty topper that came with the atomizer. Not sure if the 401 atomizer comes with an empty topper, havent got mine yet.

But when I do use the refill cart method, I noticed that the more you refill the same cart, the harder the draw is on it. Like the fiber is getting gunked up or something, clogging things. Not sure if that is correct, but basically when it becomes tough to drag, even after a refill, it's time for a new cart. That's helped me a bit.

I've been using the blank that comes with the 401 atomiser. I also think you're right about reusing the carts. I've ordered new carts and am going to try washing the old stuffing until they arrive. Someone mentioned that method here. Everything is worth a try until I find the right combo. I've almost quit analogs so I'm committed to ecigs.

Right now I'm looking like a ......ed mad scientist with tools like paperclips and tweezers and playing with small pieces of stuffing and blowing or shaking out little parts.

Just wish it was simplier and the technology perfected better. I still don't understand why they can't manufacture a battery and atomiser that just continues to work. Its not like batteries or atomisers are a new invention. With all the technology that already exists it seems that a working battery and atomiser should not be a problem. Just my two cents.

Oh well.

Think about the ashtrays and heavy chest and walking outside in 20 degree weather, and then think of the tweezers and drop bottles.

I agree with what you're saying, but there are negatives to both sides, and personally Id rather have these negatives than the other ones :)

That's why I'm committed to the ecigs but until I get it down to a semi-normal science it's still kinda freaky. :-x
