How much "bigger" is the flavor difference between an atty and a freshly topped off carto?
I'm still fairly new. I'm ashamed to admit that when my vaping started just over a month ago I was on a Vision Vivi Nova, then Evods, and an iClear (which of the three I probably like best)
I have some polypro carto tanks coming so while at a local shop I picked up a pack of boge 2 ohms to try. I have never smoked out of one before. I had never filled one before. I wanted to know how big of a pain in the rump it may be.
I haven't touched a clearo since putting this carto on my vamo yesterday. Had I started vaping before those newer products came out I probably wouldn't have switched, or would have tried one and been like "Meh". I don't mind the frequent refilling. (I'm pretty much dripping in to the carto like I would an atty and getting fresh strong tasty vapes).

Being new to vaping while all of these gadgets are out has been an expensive trail and error but I have learned from all of it. I have no friends who vape (the Cincinnati area is known for being slow to the times, Mark Twain even wrote that he wanted to be here at the end of the world because this area is always 10 years behind  ) ...of my friends I'm the one that usually does things before the rest follow, so other than assistance from this awesome community...it's this vaper against the available product world :)

At any rate how much bigger is the flavor; say from a bottom fed hybrid atty to a carto, is it bigger than an AGAT2? (I have one of those I'm still playing around with also) I'm really looking at this as another potential trial and error purchase unless someone here can give me some comparison info. I was going to try a bottom fed hybrid, not an expensive 357 or the atty tanks. While having a tank is very nice. I don't really think I mind the dripping if it produces clearly substantially different/better results.
Thanks every one!

Well, I think there is no night and day difference between attys/cartos. After one year of vaping I can taste that the flavour is a little bit muted in the carto, but not sooooo much :)
I like dripping atomizers (rebuildables) and have a GP Spheroid V2 and it's by far the best rebuildable for me. It is really easy to use, but every now and then I get a carto, fill it, punch holes in it, put it in a carto tank and enjoy it, because it is also really easy to use. After maybe 5-10min vaping I can't even tell the diference of the flavour anymore. I like vapour, a little bit of TH and the flavour is not my main concern.

carto tanks for outside vaping. genesis at home. the perfect thing imo.
you can feel the filler material of the carto after a day of genesis vaping. but bare in mind that the genesis has to be properly set up otherwise u wil not get a good flavor out of it. i have tried almost everything and the best pocket "drop forget" setup is the carto tank. the flavor is very good and everything very consistent.

I've been dripping nearly non-stop for at least a month now. I like it so much I even went so far as to grab an 808-510 adapter and a couple of eGo atomizers to use with my Echo.

In my experience everything is better. Before I started dripping, I was getting an off taste in my cartos. I thought it was the juice, but like Bogegate last year it turned out to be the filler. For me, nothing compares to a good atty. My cartos are now reserved solely for strong citrus and cinnamon for when I'm out and about and dripping would be inconvenient.

And yes, trying everything gets expensive. But with so many options, the expense is worth it to find what you prefer.
