I am fairly new to all of this but what i have found so far as the best method is to use a golf tee or something of the sort to pop the cap and o-ring out then place the open end of a carto under a small, steady stream of warm water for a few seconds and pull it away, repeating multiple times until the filler is nice and clean. Then blow on it until you can't see or hear any more water coming out, dry the battery side(don't want to ruin the bat), fill with your favorite juice and voila! Takes less than 5 minutes.

If I refill a carto and it immediately stops working, did I break it, or just muck it up? Any way to tell?

When I go to take it apart, there are several layers of plastic discs, and polyfill discs. Ihaven't actually totally dissasembled one yet. It's a Knight Stick clone, called a Phoenix. But not the one they advertise on this site. Totally different, anyway it's a 2 piece with cartomizer like a Green cig but with a male end on the cartomizer instead of a female end like everything else I've seen.

Probably just mucked up.

Make sure that you use the condom with the plug while refilling.

When the liquid begins to pool on top of the polyfill, shake it like a thermometer or use the "Taryn Spin."

If you still get no satisfaction, try blowing through the mouth end and you will force the extra juice out the batt side. (Be sure to wipe that end off afterwards.)

There are several youtube videos on cartos.

Finally, Visit the Vapor4Life forums here for TONS of Cartomizer Intel.

Now, here's a thought, if you don't get all the peroxide out, you are inhaling it.

That is what I thought of. Also, has any one considered how much money is spent on water etc to clean these. I do it myself, but often wonder if I'm not spending more money on the water or vodka etc as opposed to just buying different ones.
