Carto hard to draw

I just refilled a carto and it's really hard to draw. With the battery, it's danged near impossible, so I have to use my pass through. The carto worked fine when it came prefilled. Would this problem be due to overfillling? When I know I've overfilled, I get a gurgling sound, not tough draw. Would boiling it and blowing it out help bring it back to life?

Does the battery need charging? I've experienced a hard draw but a change in batteries fixes it right up.

Nope. I used a freshly charged battery and it's even noticeably harder than others, using my pass through.

You could try that, not sure if it would help or not. I'd probably just toss that one, could be a fluke/bad carto.

Overfilling wouldn't cause that, just the gurgling sounds and leakage.

Yep. I see light.

I've come across a couple like that. Even stuck my syringe tip through to no avail. I can't explain why they are like that. Maybe the batting is packed too tight at the bottom. I'm not sure if mine were originally like that. I only noticed after/during cleaning. Good luck!

808 carto? Are there vent holes on the PT battery connector and are they unobstructed?

I had a problem drawing off of some 501/808 adapters I got in from MadVapes a couple days ago and I found the gasket like material in it was covering the vent holes. I cut the silicone away from the hole and it works file now.

you can try boiling it and lettign it dry overnight before chucking it. I've had several do that after a few refills then poof they work like magic. I've had one or two that just wouldn't draw anymore. I dissected one once and noticed that the filling did get pushed down a bit you might try a pair of tweezers and pulling "fluffing" the filling a bit if the boiling doesn't work
