carto harsh plastic taste!

Ok i have a texas tuff tank dct and went to replace a standard rest. Carto like i always do and i primed it like always with ejuice and my first vape was this horrible harsh plastic throat hurt taste! Primed the carto with more juice and more puffs to see if it would go away...NOPE! Id say im pretty familar with cartos now and never ever had this problem with a boge 510 carto. Never had a burnt taste as well. Its kinda hard to describe, but its like burning plastic of some sort?? I dry fired it by accident, but would that of mattered? & will this go away? Or just toss a brand new carto? Something i dont really want to do!

What device did you fire it with?

Sounds like you burnt the cartomizer. Either the cartomizer wasn't fully saturated/primed or you threw on too much volts.

Or...the cartomizer was bad to begin with...in any case...that cartomizer is gone...

Yup, if you dry burn a cartomizer, the filler inside will most likely burn. The burnt taste is confirms it. You can take it apart, if you want to see what a burnt carto looks like.

Grab another one and fill it properly before you attach it to your battery.
