If you can get the filler out without breaking the connection, and can drip down the side without leaking through the hole, sure. But I don't think it'd be very easy or enjoyable. I'd think of it more of a last stitch effort if you have no attys, and the carto won't function as a carto for some reason, but is still firing.

I do this with any carto that the filler comes out of without messing the coil up, and that's most of them for me. It's especially easy with bottom horizontal coil cartos. Others may leave some stray polyfill that has to be picked out before you can dry-burn it to revitalize it.

They usually work just fine for me, often better than some of the cheaper atties I've used, because they often have a longish wick in them. You've got nothing to lose by trying it on a used up carto.

I think one of the best I've tried this on was a Joye eGo Mega carto, which has a single horizontal coil with a long wick in the bottom, but I had to do some serious cutting through hard plastic to expose the filling. Made it a bit ugly and not so comfortable to vape, though, as the whistle-tip end had to be cut off.
