carto makes lil pop sounds at start...?

whats going on. i have an ego twist, and when i press the button the carto makes lil pop sounds then its good. whats going on?

That's the liquid vaporizing..........it happens with vertical coil cartos like Boge. Gurgling means flooded, but popping sounds are o.k. My Resurrectors ALWAYS pop and let me know they are working.

The bottom coil cartomizers don't do this, fyi...

Nothing really, . When you first fire your PV after the carto has been setting the eliquid is cool and has totally saturated the area around the cool coil. When you fire your PV the coil heats up very quickly and vaporizes the cool eliquid very quickly causing the popping. As you continue to use the PV the eliquid around the coil is warmed so vaporizes w/o the popping (or at least with less popping).

Same, I use Boge LR cartos and they pop about a second after I hit the fire button.

My atomizers and cartomizers both like to make that little pop. I've come to view it lately as "Hey I'm working, enjoy your vape" LOL When they don't make that little pop I've worried a couple times that they aren't working.

does that popping sound stay forever? Ive noticed my carto in a smoketech tank does that popping sound but the carto
inside my other dct tank doesnt make any sound. does the popping sound affect the draw?

Do most use SR or LR cartos on the twist?

You should use SR on a PV with VV. Gives a much greater range of voltage adjustability.
