Is it better to use LR or SR cartomizers with an APV? Right now I have a vtube, with (hopefully) an Infinity Pro on the way, and I'm unclear what resistance is best with these devices.
There is a good chart showing you which ohms works at which volts. This is a rough representation and YMMV. For the 'Tube' I use 3 ohm Boges as that works great for me at higher voltages.
Hi Hebrewbrian, I also prefer standard resistance on my variable voltage mod. But for a different reason. I have a smaller mod which uses smaller batteries and the low resistance cartos give me a noticeable drop in useage time with my particular unit. Still, being able to up my voltage gives me the ability to adjust the amount of heat and vapor for that great performance I have become accustomed to. Good Luck. Happy vaping.
See my post entitled "Volts, Amps, Ohms, Battery Life Oh my!" Good vape is all about the wattage. Find your wattage sweet spot and you will be able to tune any res to your liking. I do agree 2 to 3 ohms is good on a vv.
