I love these little shorty 1.7 ohm cartos (mini resurrectors) and they work great on my mini Woodvil and reg Woodvil but they don't work on my 18490. They don't make contact. I tried using an adapter, sqonked just enough to get the carto wet and it seemed to be working fine but then I quonked again lightly and the juice well filled up. It's not a sealed adapter but juice isn't reaching the carto. I took the adapter off and cleaned the well out and pulled the center pin out of the carto a little ways but was worried that would cause a short so I didn't go too far but it's still not making contact. When I screw the carto in it bottoms out before it makes contact. I can't figure out why the juice isn't getting through the adapter now when it did on the first squonk. I've had troubles with other cartos not making contact on the 18490 but would work on my reg Woodvil and mini woodvil but I don't remember which brand that was now. Help!!

So I put a unsealed adapter on my 18490 and filled the second shorty carto with juice and it's working, kinda. It still doesn't shut off when I take my finger off the switch right away. I really don't think filling the carto first really made any difference but I did it anyway since you suggested it but I will probably continue doing it the other way. So this still leaves me with the question of why do I need an adapter with these cartos on the 18490 but not on the other Woodvils.
