Carto Swap Meet

I am really liking the idea of a swap meet! It would give people an opportunity to try before they buy too! Just trying to think of a way it could work. I have swapped cartos with others here, and it has worked out, but you aren't always going to find someone who has what you want. I thought if one person handled it (Phoenix) it just might work!

How about this... Everyone picks out 10 cartos and mails them to Phoenix with 2 self addressed stamped envelopes (3 stamps each). Or 5 cartos and 1 self addressed stamped envelope. She compiles a list of the cartos and strengths and if you see 5 you like, post that you would like those and she pops it in the mail to you. Everytime you send in more carts, send another envelope. We would need to find a website or spot somewhere (does facebook have something that would work) where a list could be posted and updated, and people could post what they would like sent?

And of course, if you just want to donate some cartos that you don't think you would vape to the cause to give more variety, that is fine too.

Can anyone else throw ideas out there. This is just kind of a preliminary rough draft, I am sure there is a better way.... ideas anyone?

JenJen honestly I love the idea but probably wouldn't use it for fear that there was bad apple out there. I feel much safer dealing only with 1 person directly, if I were to swap cartos, being as it is something I am going to put into my body. Even though the Idea of Phenoix handling it would make it safer publicly for everyone, it would also make it very dificult to trace if something did go wrong Not saying that I don't trust you and most people on here but hey this is the internet creeps can will and do exploit trusting people on here all the time. So please be careful, Love you too much to see somethingbad happen to any of you all!

Gosh, that is something I didn't think of! And isn't it a shame that we would even have to think of something like that? What a world we live in huh? But I guess you are right...

I love Jen's enthusiasm and the swap meet (already posted some stuff on the FB page) but I think most folks would be more comfy with an even steven trade...plus the evil woman nominated me to coordinate all. I personally think we should all just congregate at Jen's house and do an in person swap. Remember Halloween - you sorted all your goodies and traded with your friends or siblings - that's the ticket! Jen has volunteered that we can all stay there (or I volunteered her - all depends on perspective). Of course there is always those unfortunate mary jane candys, tooth brushes, and apples that no one ever wanted...not sure we have that with V4L cartomizers...hmm perplexing...

Good point...this is the really real world, and there are...bad people out there!

Geez - I thought the idea of a Swap Shop on FB could really work but I never even thought about the 'bad people' thing. Darn ... but a very good point. Unfortunately one can just not be too careful in this world we find ourselves living in. So sad really ... anyway guess it's best to leave things status quo ... but REALLY like the idea of all meeting somewhere. Tell you alll what ... when I win that lottery that I never buy tickets for, I'll pay for everyone's air fare!! We'll go to the Barbados or somewhere really nice.
